Hi Capt Victrex (VCT) are a spin out from the old ICI and produce world leading polymers that have multiple applications from medical to aerospace to the oil industry. My thinking is that Nanene may further enhance their polymers. I seem to remember that VRS were at a conference in Exeter with Victrex and others in the not too distant past

I wish I was Forestfred! I missed the chance by a couple of hours, hopefully Neill will do a Manchester date at some point for us lot up North! However Would you mind asking a question for me? I think it was one of my first ever posts on VRS. I would love to know how well graphene/nanene has been shown to improve the performance of PEEK & PAEK polymers. I have a feeling deep down in my goolies that Victrex (check them out!!), will be working very closely with Versarien. If so, it could be huge!

Well that did'nt take long! Looks like they were very keen to invest, or they were all trolleyed on a Friday afternoon!!!

I rate this as very positive. Looking at the share price since the start of this year (when I 1st invested), to now, this is a very small discount to the Sp. I hope I'm not proved wrong, but why would they want to expand capacity if there are no uplifts on demand in the future? To my way of thinking there must be something positive on the near horizon. or why the rush?

I agree, he is setting him up for a fall. What I fail to understand is why would someone short Vrs? When you buy a new car, you research it and then take a test drive. The Chinese will have been playing with samples of Nanene for months, you don't volunteer �55m for fun. They already know where its going once the factory opens.

Hi diversified, my thinking is, that should there be an Hk flotation of a JV company, then vrs would be a major stakeholder, if not a majority shareholder. This would bring massive investment from Chinese investors which could only improve the situation for Lth's

My reading of recent announcements is that a listing of the JV company on the HK exchange is likely. Does anyone else see it that way?
