in an area of high risk, emerging companies would anyone commit over 30% of their capital to just one sector (healthcare), and then commit nearly 50% of that to one company? Any financial advisor would say that, risk wise, it's mad. If one company is that good, why has'nt someone like GSK or AZN swallowed it up long ago? I think Woodford has been on an ego trip with this fund, and needs to look at his team of analysists.

Hi chilting, in the annual report of 4th Oct the "operations update" mentioned larger scale production in the Uk and also partnering to produce elsewhere in the future. I would love to know who the 5th OEM will be???

To be fair I've been a holder for a couple of years and can see that your posts are sensible. I think this move is a big benefit to the share price, but having now gone boggle eyed reading the bumph, is it more of a bennefit to those holing redeemable shares than those holding ordinary shares?? I;m at a loss to figure it out. I hold ordinary shares by the way. I'd appreciate your opinion

This happened the otther week, the price went from the mid 10's down to the low 9's. I wonder if its market makers trying to get shares by triggering stop losses. They took me out last time at 9.40. this time i put a buy limit on at 9.50 and got my shares back this morning!!

I was invested here, believing that such a boiler was a great concept. Then a friend of mine who is a successful engineer in the renewables industry told me that really the Sterling engine technology has been around a long time and he would be surprised if a small company could make it a success when big ones had walked away. I've thought about buying back in, but i think other technologies are much further down the line. for instance CWR. I hope the Charger does get to a commercial position. People have worked hard on it. But maybe JG has just dined well on it?

This has to be fantastic news, if it can move from trial units successfully, theoretically anyone with a gas boiler will be able to slash their energy bills. Also interesting to note that the Steel Cell is "hydrogen-ready"

Regarding RedT I've been a holder for some time, and I've lost a lot on paper! I wish I'd put my redt money in here instead. They talk a good story, and I believe in the technology, but I'm not sure about how commercial they are, or are likely to be. The bulletin board is dominated by a serial "cut and paste anything" ramper, so be careful in your research. In theory it could be a success,( I hope so1) but I've got to the point where I would be happy to see confirmed, paid for sales.

Can anyone with knowledge of this sector/area please explain it's movements upwards and why. The reason i ask is not just regarding IDP, {which I think I need to increase my holding}, but others in what I believe to be the same sector are also showing large gains over the last year, such as SWL and CRL and W7L. What is driving this overall?

HL showed a Friday close of 171, when i checked everywhere else it looks like 177. it's unusual for this share to jump 10p+ in a day. Has the market woken up to PHTM? Perhaps its going to get the rating it deserves.

Hi Wizard and oldbadger. I expected more of a lift on news like that. At 9.30 the price had gone down!! Germany has'nt been mentioned before, i'm quite sure on that. On my laundry fixation, I actually rang them yesterday to ask how many there were in the uk, to be told "about 20, with lots in Ireland". I think this may tie in with todays announcement that says something along the lines of 100 Available for the uk. i assume a roll-out of units is going on. This is a frustrating share, excellent news and damp sqib market reaction.

Hi oldbadger, I find it interesting, Deod123 has seen 3 in Eire, they have mentioned N.Ireland, there is Scotland and the north of England, that we know of. How many more??? And pretty much under the radar. Strange trading today, some hefty buys. I think a lot more than usual, but I'm not that close an observer. I wonder what tomorrow will bring, boredom or excitement?

I've just checked, they released interim results on 28 June last year, so I think we have a few weeks before any further news.

Hi oldbadger. I agree with you regarding the long awaited trading update. Steve, I hope you're right! Phtm have been quietly rolling out the Laundry format in the uk and there has been no rns. Most companies would have been shouting about it. They have sites in N.Ireland and Scotland, and I think one has opened in N.Yorks recently. But the website dos'nt say how many there are. £8 to wash a duvet in 30 mins compared to £20 in 2 days at my local cleaners!! Interesting
