EGT shared a post this morning on the Financial Times article which highlighting China’s export crackdown of 7 key rare earth elements, targeting critical minerals used in EVs, wind turbines & defence systems in light of U.S. tariffs. This demonstrates China’s powerful leverage in REE’s and the global fragility of the supply chain, particularly in Europe.

At European Green Transition, their Olserum REE project has the potential to make a significant impact to the REE supply chain in Europe. The work completed by EGT to date has proved the district scale REE potential at Olserum, significantly de-risking the project as they seek to progress to the next stage of development with a larger industry partner.
