Cobus Loots, CEO of Pan African Resources, on delivering sector-leading returns for shareholders. Watch the video here.
Good first post.
There’s a fair amount of scaremongering going on here tonight. What makes any of you think that DVRG will go the way that MWG or MSYS did in the past? DVRG took over MWG and the company has being growing every year since GB took over so why would it fail when predicted revenue is a conservative £10m for this year. I smell alterior motives to try and drop the SP for a trade or a low buy in price by some names I’ve never seen before and with very low DVRG post counts. I’m personally not one bit concerned and I am looking forward to the launch of skin trust and the phase 3 test results, a f it drops I’ll average down further as I’m here for the long term.
Seems to be hard to buy below 30p trying to get more but taking a while. Chesh how are the trades looking?
It could well prove a more lucrative return in a shorter period of time given that the SP in Microsaic is 100 times less than DVRG and therefore could double in a day quite easily on volume alone as where I can’t see DVRG doing the same in a day unless some sort of big news dropped, although I do see DVRG as a good long term investment. It really just comes down to you how you like to trade or invest and is a personal choice. It’s all a non story to me.
Ok yes the mention of Microsaic wasn’t particularly necessary and possibly GB being too honest but I don’t see how it should have such a negative effect on DVRG, it’s the MMs taking advantage of a non event. Selling 200k shares is relatively small when there 163 million, around 0.12 %
I’ve been considering Microsaic for the last 2 weeks and was awaiting the issuing of the placing shares last week to see if it affected the SP, so I had planned to buy in anyway at some stage this week.
This board would drive you crackers sometimes. It’s just a good bit of trading imo, take some profits and out them into another company which has a link to DVRG and given that it’s price is so low compared to DVRG it probably has potential to makes quite significant rises in terms of %. If GB wife stumped up her own cash as a loan and was paid back in shares she is quite entitled to take the profit and put it somewhere else, if an institution loaned the money and got paid in shares and then took a profit 3 years later would there be the same people getting their nickers in a twist. Fair play to GB keeping a cool head as there some just deliberately trying to stir the pot. I’d say it’s water off a ducks back to the same man however......anyone who isn’t happy with DVRG please do us a favour and sell up.
On the plus side I’ve been able to top up at 30p and ive also taken a small position in Microsaic in which I’m already 15% in profit.
It takes time to build the data, I think a figure of around 3 months was mentioned in November which will lead us to the mid-end of February. It took many years for labskin to build its AI for what will be used in skin trust so a few months for the BT isn’t a long time at all. It’s Also worth nothing there are vaccines being rolled out and different variants of COVID appearing so I wouldn’t be surprised if they want to build some data on these aspects, run tests on those with symptoms but have already been vaccinated etc. I think the next couple of weeks will start to see momentum hit with the launch of skin trust club and the phase 3 results.
As said other news could drop anytime too as there is plenty going on in DVRG at the minute. If it dips below my average I will take the opportunity to top up, otherwise I’ll sit tight.
I’m in a similar position @trillsg with 90% of my money in deepverge, I only hold 3 stocks at present, there’s nothing else grabbing me at the minute that I think will do as good as deepverge in the long run.
GB certainly doesn’t look 59 that’s for sure. I signed up myself and my wife is a make up artist in her spare time so she will be linking it on her Facebook to her clients and friends, she thinks it’s a great idea.
Good RNS showing more growth. I don’t see the issue of the skin trust news not getting it’s own RNS as it’s just a pre registration it’s not the full launch which will get its own in 4 weeks time no doubt.
Same here, couldn’t get a buy at 33 had to settle at 34. Maybe a big order being filled? Who knows
Think I’ll have a small top up in my isa at this price.
We need to bust through 37p, it seems stubborn, a bit more volume needed and I think there will be a push on into the 40’s.
40p achievable this week? Where is the resistance level R40 and Chesh?
Phase 3 Results definitely not priced in. The recent rise out of the 20’s was due to the increased revenue report and a return of positive sentiment given the company is now on a solid footing. It Looks like low 30’s is the consolidation phase, I’m happy to see steady slow growth, with low 40’s being the next consolidation phase and so on. Honestly I see £0.8-1 being hit this year based solely on £10 million predicted revenue. If GB and team manage to increase over and above that and if skin trust takes off we will fly past £1 by Christmas. Just my opinion of course.
Maybe people starting to take positions. Skin trust is only 5 weeks away and we are due phase 3 trials results soon are we not? Also who knows what other news might drop
Are low 30’s the new floor now? Guess we will hover here until news. Not long until phase 3 trial results hopefully, then the skin trust launch at the start of March, plus whatever else is going on behind the scenes, news could drop at anytime..
Me too, a small top up but at bang on my average I couldn’t resist.
I think we have definitely turned a corner this year and things seem a lot more stable now and derisked. The share holders here seem to have a buy and hold mentality, of course this is still a need and place for traders to create some volume.
I don’t know why, just a gut feeling but I’m confident to hold here for at least a few years and that’s a very rare thing on AIM. I just don’t have confidence in many other AIM shares so tend to take a profit and go but it feels different with DVRG. Even in times of waiting for news I can see people holding onto their shares rather than sell through impatience. I could be wrong of course but the majority on this BB seem to be happy to buy and hold for the medium to long term. It’s nice to be on a more mature board too compared to some of the circus’s!
I am quite excited about the skin trust initiative. I can see it being huge and worldwide in time if it takes off the way it should. It needs a big advertising and media campaign though.
I’ll definitely sign up as I have a skin condition myself and anyone I have mentioned it to in my family have said they would too particularly the females in my life. For the price it is being sold for its well worth it rather than trial and error spending hundreds of not more per year on different products which probably aren’t even doing much in particular.
I wonder will DVRG go this alone or will they farm it out to some of their top cosmetics collaborators who already have the big name, advertising scope and client base!?....a smaller portion of lots of pies or a larger portion of one big pie which is best? I’m sure GB has it sussed.
