Rainbow Rare Earths Phalaborwa project shaping up to be one of the lowest cost producers globally. Watch the video here.
Regarding helium, if they want to sell when the MCap hits 50k so be it, with all that next year will bring they will be out and gone for good. Still a ridiculous investing strategy imo, selling at a particular price when it could be doubled that in 6 months time.
Wow. This is quite significant. As GB said they now have factual evidence, evidence that is owned by DVRG. I would live to see this make the news on TV.
Very long myself as in several years. As time progresses AI and life science stocks with cutting edge technology will be the future, I guarantee it. I only wish I had more cash to buy when it was low 20’s but sure. This share will trade in £’s over the coming years.
I guess that’s why DVRG are currently doing the phase 3 testing on the BT. Let’s wait and see how it goes. Even the current PCR tests are known to give false positives/negatives, a big part of the problem is due to people not doing it right. The BT is a lot easier to administer
It would be useful to get some clarification from the CEO as to whether we are still in partnership with Parity. As mentioned it all sounded very promising in that interview but not much in the way of updates since then. I’m not asking for contract details or numbers just a yes we are or no we are not working with them anymore.
The biggest political party here the DUP are pushing for mass testing of the population here and in particular want rapid daily testing for care home staff and health workers. It has been raised in the House of Commons with Matt Han**** and Bojo has said there are plans in place to discuss With the NI executive, mass testing throughout the U.K. No doubt there are large pots of money available for such initiatives so funding shouldn’t be an issue.....Now what would be the perfect tool for the job!?

I can see this push having more traction in the coming weeks and months. @gjbrandon as you have already made tracks into N.Ireland with phase 3 testing this would be a great time to increase momentum. I’m sure Sir Jeffery Donaldson and the NI Health minister Robin Swann would love to hear about the capabilities of the Microtox BT and PD (if they don’t already know that is)!
I think it’s just for comparison as it was a government led scheme by PH England and the results from it can used a guidance for the number of positive cases you need as a % from the number of people tested in order to build up a credible amount of data. I.E 30 positive cases out of 1000 (what DVRG need) or 3000 out of 100,000 (What Liverpool tests showed)
The RNS confirms testing of individuals using a combination of the Microtox BT, lateral flow tests and PCR tests. That clears that up lol. It would be excellent if the BT was more accurate then the other 2 tests!
Davde the Liverpool testing was a mass test programme by the government due to high infection rates in the area and used a normal PCR test or a later flow(saliva) test to my knowledge, not the BT. I think the Liverpool figures are a guideline used now in terms of % of positive cases required to build up enough of a data set (I think)
Yes So it looks like there was approx 3% of the Liverpool tests came back positive so that’s probably the benchmark and DVRG will want a similar % to compare the virus (spike proteins) with their data from Aberdeen?
Then they can compare all future tests with this data set of 30/40 positive tests. So basically the data from the factory workers phase 3 trials (positive covid cases) will be the baseline data held on the server to compare all future tests with? That’s my interpretation anyway I may be wrong though!
I watched it again there @Newuncle and I can only here reference to Microtox PD and roll
Out of the PD. He said it’s more like community screening of wastewater (near source) in the factories, no mention of using the actual BT on workers in the factories. Also said it’s not like they are testing patients in a covid ward. I’d just like to hear some clarification on the testing of the BT, is it on people in the factories Or just tested against other existing tests for accuracy? How many people are testing the BT etc?
Just one question if GB could answer. The Phase 3 field testing referred to the Microtox PD in the 2 factories. Is there testing on actual people with the Microtox BT or is it just the underground testing happening at the minute?
My take on it was that the BT was to be compared along side a lateral flow test and the standard PCR tests on a set amount of people and the results compared in terms of efficacy and accuracy, do I have that right? If so what sort of numbers are you testing on? Thanks
I just watched the interview and I like what I see and hear, all very positive in terms of testing and expansion in different parts of the world, I think the end of this year and Q1 2021 will be exciting. Glad to hear the field trials for approx 3000 people in 2 factories and one of them in my homeland! I wonder which factory lol. I don’t think Gerard could really say much more at this stage which is understandable. Also still a lot of interest from the cruise industry which is good to hear.
MCap won’t be long getting back to £50m if it’s at £33m at the minute now we have merged with MWG. Why would I want to sell At a loss purely because a larger player can manipulate the share price. Doesn’t bode well for PI’s who want to leave it as a long term investment does it? So MCap gets to £50m quick everybody sell before Helium off load again.....brilliant
So helium can just call the shots by selling a massive chunk and causing it to crash when the MCap goes over £50m and then buying back in at 20p to ride the wave back up? The MCAp is now at £33m @21p so does that mean they will sell a massive chunk again when the MCap goes back to £50m? Talk about manipulation if that’s the case.
Around what date can we expect to get EYR? Maybe hen we will see actual numbers of sales etc. I agree the last RNS’s have been a bit confusing and lacking in any real detail with figures.
If we landed one of those big government tenders it would be off to the moon from current prices. I can dream about the RNS landing.
“DVRG wins £100m government Testing contract for Microtox BT to be applied to over 1 million healthcare staff throughout the UK”. :-)
Yes 47.1 down too TPKart! Average of 36-37p. If it drops more i will consider buying a few more, an average below 30p would be good.
I was reading an article on AI companies there and all of the experts agree it is the future, I see DVRG as an AI company not a Covid company, Covid just being a big problem that they can apply their tech to.
In time I think it will be a big name, I’m sure GB has big ambitions.
Yes has has happened to me before too with HURRICANE energy years ago, I was in a good profit, didn’t take it and then its bombed and left me sitting on a big loss. I eventually sold at about 60% loss and Left investing behind but about a year later it had recovered so I should have stayed in and would have at least got my money back and been in profit but it felt the right choice at the time.
I’m now in the same situation here, bought in at the wrong time and bought on rises too. Now sitting at about high 30’s average and my balance reads 47% in the red today for a (substantial to me holding). so your not the only one, there’s a plenty worse off I’m sure. I’m hoping in a years time we will be in a much healthier position. GL with your investment whatever you decide to do.
Local government here in Northern Ireland today are calling for “daily” testing for care home staff and all healthcare workers. The BT would be perfect for that. Instant results and have a chip scanner in each care home/clinic/GP surgery/each hospital department etc. It would be great if this was to be the next step after stage 3 trials.
