Covid isn’t going away, even with vaccines (which don’t, at this stage anyway, stop the spread). There will always be the need for testing, and the UK is only one small country. It will take a long time to vaccinate the world. Then there’s the many other diagnostic uses for the BT apart from Covid.

Can the PCR tests do this though?

Well I was totally wrong and I’m happy to admit it. This is massive imo. It proves that the BT is going to be the gold standard and surely now the government have to get in on this, not only for Covid vital for a lot of other diseases and viruses. Great work by Gerard and his team. Now this needs media coverage!!!

I’ve always been more excited about the PD as I think it could be massive throughout the world given the focus on water quality issues and the fact it can detect over 2000 different pathogens not to mention drugs etc. BT could also be huge (not particularly as a Covid play) but as a diagnosis for many other diseases and viruses, the tech is quite impressive and that’s it’s USP. Then as mentioned there are still plenty of other revenue generating products and services, skin trust could also be worldwide! I’m going nowhere and I even tried a top up earlier but I couldn’t get it at the right price and the Sp is now above average

I was referring to ChuckRoadSnr about commercialisation as in I don’t think we will get any news on commercialisation of the BT and any new on that will be related to the test results only but who knows what news will drop really.

I’m not expecting news on the BT tomorrow I think it will be more associated with PD, or test results from the phase 3 testing of both the BT and PD. If the accuracy is better or as good as the current PCR testing then its very good news for the future.

As I say, I hope I’m proven wrong but until that RNS is logged and its good I’m taking nothing for granted.

I agree @Glebe. I’ve been saying if it over a week now, it’s almost a bit rampy and building up Wednesday. I would love to be proven wrong myself as it will also benefit me but I’m not sure if we will even get an RNS on Wednesday? The hint of paddy’s day doesn’t necessarily mean we will get one as I don’t think you are allowed to drop hints of when an RNS will land. Too much has been promised before and it’s been a damp squib so I’m not getting my hopes up. If I’m wrong I will happily accept that. As you say it’s a marathon not a sprint....in saying that I’ve a gut feeling there might be an RNS of some sort tomorrow and not Wednesday.

I take the Twitter hints with a pinch of salt and I think tbh a lot of the market does too, I’m still in and I’m long but until the RNS drops I’m not getting my hopes up. Have a good weekend all.

Guys no offence but why is everyone getting fired up about the next week/few weeks? None of us “know” what’s coming it’s all speculation and I just really don’t want this board to be setting us up for a fall. How can anyone be sure we will get an RNS of any significance next week? I really hope I’m proved wrong but I don’t get the massive excitement on here about next week.

Mass testing being rolled out here in NI in schools, healthcare settings, large factories etc. Only talk of LFT’s no mention of a breathalyser, quite annoyed that there is no mention of it. I thought it was being piloted here in some factories alongside the Waste water testing. Maybe other countries will take it but i personally can’t see it being a goer in the UK. I hope I’m wrong but if not there are plenty of other revenue streams for DVRG in the pipeline

Trying to keep my feet on the ground with this one, as much as I want it to be off the scale there’s no guarantees and we have seen what’s happened before. Good to see the SP back over 30 in the meantime!

It is soul destroying to watch. I wish there was less of these tweets though, now everyone is dropping paddy’s day as the next big thing when it could end up as nothing best not to ramp it. I’m putting these down as a bottom drawer stock and forgetting about them for a while as there’s no point in watching the SP in the red everyday.

I think part of the problem is that a lot of people have seen some AIM shares that are flavour of the month and quite a few of the US shares spike to crazy levels recently within days or even hours and frustration has set in with the lack of progress here, I’ve been frustrated myself at times but then I remember why I invested here and that I didn’t expect to make a quick buck. I would say that the problem with the fast rising shares is that they tank as quickly as they rise. I would much rather a stable company that is being grown and the revenues are increasing year on year and that’s what is happening at DVRG. The SP will follow in good time.

As said this is an investment, they take years normally to give you a good return. I also bought in around the spike last year so I’m relatively new here but I liked what I saw after doing the research and have since used the dips to get my average down, I’m slightly under water now but I’m not concerned at all as I’m here to see how it all plays out and how big GB and his team can grow the company.

Agree @AndyNich. To quote a famous phrase “You can please some of the people all off the time and all of the people some of the time but you can never please all of the people all of the time”.

Had to settle for 27p. Still happy as it’s 4p below my average, it’s going in the isa too for the long run
