It's not "bewildering" at all.
It seems the auditor will not sign off on going concern because in their opinion the business is not, er, a going concern.
If the directors cannot sign audited accounts, they cannot put them before an AGM, or file them with Companies House, or RNS them or get the suspension lifted.
There are no refinancing options for reasons previously stated. My bet is the next RNS confirms delisting, the company goes private, and dies quietly away from the public gaze. Holders at suspension are trapped and can salvage nothing.
