They do have independent technical proof of permanent mineralisation (third-party lab analysis confirming rapid, permanent carbonate formation). That’s what Giorgi is referring to when he talks about being able to move toward FID.

What they don’t yet have is formal independent certification of:

• total storage capacity, and

• annual injection rates

—that’s a commercial / regulatory step needed for carbon credits and large third-party contracts, not proof that mineralisation works.

Bottom line:

✔ Proof of permanent mineralisation = yes

⏳ Certified, bankable CCS project metrics = still being finalised
