RE: Sold out24 Dec 2020 07:07
Air cooled, I sold out everything from Tullow 2 weeks back average 33. I was in this share all year and happy to wait 2-3 years for £1+ however the % short and the way the share would move or not in relation to market/other oil companies worried me. Whilst the CMD day presentation and I listened live for over 2 hours impressed, the guidance and reduced production for 2021 was worrying. For me it’s about performance drag and missed opportunities. Since selling I’ve diversified into a selection of ETF’s sustainable energy, biotech, robotics, automation, cloud computing, art intelligence etc and I’ve made solid gains.
I have 100% less stress and anxiety each day!
Look, I believe in Tullow, however exiting now, making steady gains in a diverse portfolio elsewhere and coming back into Tullow in Jan/Feb or whenever next year for me for the right choice. I might miss some ‘rare’ spikes but I also no that Tullow will be pulled back from these spikes every time whilst there’s 8% short interest.
There’s no right or wrong, I salute the faithful LTH, merry Christmas and GLA.
