Oiluser, it’s a large sell in comparison to the days buys… in the grand scheme of things it’s nothing I agree. I own 1,600,000 Tullow shares and probably like many here on the board are concerned by the controlled and manipulated price daily. When everything else’s is in the green and we are red, it bothers me. I am long and positive Tullow but also my eyes are open… are we hedged at such a low point compared to the current oil price, is the recent debt raise at 10% and the forced hedges playing against us? We are now pumping considerably less than last year and this is number is potentially falling further. Whilst the market rallies we fall. This is and should be an objective board as such I expect a balanced opinion not just pumpers

Big seller after the close, what do they know whilst oil is punching towards $80?!? Looks like bad results next week are coming…

Baffled… markets are flying today, all companies in all sectors are up, all oilers are up, POO is over $76, but Tullow is in the red. God only knows how fast we will drop if the oil price drops or we get a nasty surprise next week… as a LTH I’m starting to lose patience and the nerves are creeping in, the SP might have reached its maximum level until 2022.

All of the above… Personally, even though I’m a long term buy & hold investor, I do sometimes get impatient, when I feel compared to general sentiment, POO, forward curve and trends, obvious reopening of the economy and oil consumption in the coming 12-18 months, why the SP is still not rising closer to £1. However they’re many forces at work and a few deep breaths and not checking the SP and this board every few hours definitely helps : ) Tullow is now in good shape moving forward, all uncertainty taken off the table, so it’s far easier to fall asleep at night! Does anyone know when Tullow will start buying back shares? Les mentioned yesterday that they would be informing the relevant markets by close of business yesterday. Will they buy at this level the maximum 10% in anticipation of the share price rising in the coming months? Any thoughts or confirmations appreciated.

My exit is £1.33 exactly… happy to hold 18-24 months for this to become a reality.

All the stars are aligned for today. I‘ve been holding since Dec 19 drop and been buying all through 2020/21 to average down to 34p. Daily jumps in the SP are welcomed, but I’m long term buy and hold, never traded this stock (not my thing) so whatever happens today I’m in Tullow for the next 12-24 months, as I believe this will rise to well above £1+ in that time frame. Brent just hit $74, with trading houses in Switzerland calling this just the start of the summer oil price surge. Potential of hitting $75 a barrel tomorrow just as the AGM and update are released, absolute perfect timing in so many ways, shorts closing as quickly as they can and lots of positive news surrounding Tullow. Experience tells me tomorrow’s SP movement isn’t going to be what we all want with a flat to slightly negative EOD, but the trend is upwards in the coming months and fingers crossed for £1+ in 2022. Expecting and holding for a solid week with continued increasing oil prices thus creating additional FCF above Tullow’s last stated base case oil price. IMHO is see Tullow increasing its base case to $60-65, depending on hedges, but what a time to be negotiating 2022 hedges. A potential 10% rise in SP to consolidate the week at 65p would be welcomed and justified. Have a good week all LTH’s.

And didn’t S&P state they would raise Tullow’s credit rating once the refinancing had taken place?

If it gets to £1 PI’s will be selling and institutions will probably be buying. I think the realistic target in 12-18 months is £1.30. How many PI’s have set their limit Srl at £1?

It’s a joke! In 18 months I’ve been invested and following Tullow, I’ve never seen any employee or director buys… this is the first token effort in that time. Tullow had 700+ employees and this is the first stock purchase, a measly 50,000 shares. No faith in the business from within, speaks volumes.

Unusual to see only 660,000 shares traded on a Friday morning. I wonder why the volumes are so low? Hoping to see more action and buying next week in the run up to the AGM.

Oil up 0.7% to 72.7 and Tullow suddenly down -2.5%… there is, as I said yesterday someone dumping big blocks of shares around 60p, holding and driving the price down. Either GS getting rid of as many shares as possible as the shorters exit or someone knows something re the upcoming AGM. I’m a LTH and overly sensitive to this, lol fingers crossed hopefully the share price will eventually push above 60.

Looks like a fresh sell off based on the RNS… I’m not sure I understand Tullow’s share price movements. Raul states: with no debt maturities until 2025 Tullow can now deliver on its long term strategy. With POO above $70 the company is making significantly greater FCF than when they announced the base case scenario was for $45 oil. IMHO this share is undervalued and has to be released at some point.

Same all say long… 100,000-150,000 shares at a time being dumped at 60p, who’s selling religiously millions of shares at 60p? The share price cannot move higher, manipulation.
