The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
BBN thanks for posting your links to your analysis of BMN following today’s update. Informative and well researched and referenced as always. Very much appreciated
They reported on13th pig, so the company could have released this morning but sensibly held back
Our rand costs for production go up when we have to convert dollars from sales into rand to pay staff and buy materials. A strong rand means higher costs.
I don’t see how we gain though
The thresholds were crossed on 7th April and 4th May, yet they choose to report on 13th coming out the same day as q1 results. Lucky I don’t buy into conspiracies otherwise I might think they had wanted to time it for maximum negative impact
I thought it was broadly in line with what I expected apart from the increase in production costs, that was an unpleasant surprise. Hopefully they will get costs back down.
I have 2 miners in my port folio this and bmn. I think they both have significant upsides.
I’d rather we didn’t spend anymore money drilling rainbows until we have the much promised and awaited income stream from CS project
I’m impressed by how quickly, we have managed to resolve this dispute. Well done to the management team.
Hi Libero
I can’t find any such reports do you have a link/source?
To be fair comonsres if anyone read your chat history I think it’s very unlikely that they would be influenced by you,
How couldn’t it comonsres when you keep telling the story of the great assets we have and the terrific permit. Your unbounded positivity couldn’t fail to enlighten new investors of this great opportunity creating such buying pressure to send the SP soaring.
I’m going to go out on a limb and say. Haven’t really got an issue with the coms. We get regular updates no waffle, and price sensitive news is usually reported in a timely manner.
I would have liked clear time lines on the mini grid and east London facility as I think the long term nature of these projects has resulted in an impression of a lack of progress. Which has overshadowed the great progress elsewhere. In fact there is only one occasion when production restarted following COVID that I felt should have been RNS’d and wasn’t.
I’ve been invested in companies that give news on trivial stuff and I think it’s detrimental to the SP long term
Dividends should be paid from surplus cash, we don’t have any of that just now
Delighted to see our company retweet BBN’s excellent article.
No such thing as a poor lawyer
Great to get a bit of clarity about what’s happening on the BE side, I’d have liked timelines for the completion of mini grid and electrolyte plant, but hey ho can’t have everything!
This and other BBs like it serve many purposes for many people,
There are company cheerleaders who think the purpose of the BB is to build positive sentiment. They believe in the company and want to sell the story so others can buy in too and support the SP
There are derampers who want to buy in at lower prices, or who hold short positions they want to spread negativity, so negative sentiment mightlower the SP
there are information sharers, intellectual posters in the most part who share research and post links to relevant information. They generally want to inform others so they can understand the opportunity in the company. Of course there is also the careful selection of information to support a narrative
There are those who want to discuss aspects of the business they don’t understand and tap into the knowledge base of the better informed, they will usually manage to be labelled as being a troll or to lazy to do there own research and will be ridiculed or abused into submission
There are the disgruntled, that have bought in on spikes or followed the advice of others and now hang about bitter trying to reap some sort of antagonistic revenge.
There are the argumentative who are just looking for an excuse to dish out some a abuse and belittle others.
there are the egomaniacs who want to stroke there own ego and parade their superior intellect.
You won’t persuade others to use the board as you do if it’s purpose for them is not aligned with yours.
I thought it was fairly clear that we will only start mining once we have an offtake. The rerate on offtake agreement should be bigger given the increase in product price. The question is if and when will we get that agreement. I’m not expecting any movement in sp unless we have good news either on the silver or on the offtake.
74 people signed up don’t know how many attended
Silver results due next week
Crushing problems explained, and clear plan to ensure same mistakes are not made
No real clear explanation as to why the early MOU 100 ton sample has not yet progressed to off take .
No clear decision on start up or investment options for CS preferred
No guidance on when CS production will start. No offtake no production.
500 ton sample now due for crushing testing end of March?
Patric has put 340k into company of his own money
I just want him to lay out when and how we are bringing CS into production. Wish he would just keep his eye on the ball get us cash generating
