Without looking back I think they were saying its 500m down to 1000m, so potentially 500m thick.
I also believe the rig is capable of going down to 1100(ish) m if necessary.

Correct, we're not arguing about this, but just like the algorithm that is currently controlling the (extremely successful) LBG buyback they'll be similar at work here buying and selling to maximise gains.
At the end of the day it doesn't matter to me, I will buy & sell when I'm happy but I would be more than happy to have access to say BlackRocks trading data on days like today, or yesterday or hundreds of other days!

I'm not going to get involved in an argument here because I can't be bothered, but if you believe the likes of BlackRock & JP Morgan do not use their power to influence the share market you are sadly mistaken.
This can take many forms, heavy selling fueling a drop only to buyback later in the day is but one example but it does most definitely go on.
BP is probably one of the most "played with/traded" shares on the market, and although I am holding long term I have used these false drops in the past.

There are to many wild 5%+ swings, going back as long as I can remember for this not to be being manipulated.

There's a time and a place.
Today is not the day, totally disrespectful.

I would PREFER a slightly bigger dividend and a slightly smaller buyback but unfortunately we are but tiny cogs in a huge machine.
The BOD are there to run the company, not us, we can vote on certain aspects but unless we can vote something down the BOD decide what is best for the company and shareholders.
It will never please everyone but it will hopefully please the majority.
Yes I bought these shares for income so the bigger the divi the better, but I would also like to see capital growth.
I have no intention of selling these shares anytime soon so if in the meantime they buyback 10 or 20 Billion shares and the SP reacts according I will be happy.

Haven't checked the maths but yes in theory they could just keep buying back until they've all gone.
The problem is they will get more and more expensive as the share pile reduces with each share will be worth more, so a £90 Billion MCAP company the last Billion shares will worth £90 each!

PJ has not answered the question directly if there is third party interest, (well not unless I've missed it) He's skirted round the issue.
I suspect if there ISN'T we will see pictures of the cores, but to my knowledge Nickel doesn't always show itself as clearly as say Copper or Gold, so for a non geologist it will be difficult to call how much Nickel could be there.
If however we hear NOTHING I suggest there is third party involvement and they will want those cores keeping secret until they've been all over them and been tested.
And anything can happen from there!
Obviously this is only my opinion but there really does seem to be a buzz around Molopo.
I bought another batch on Friday and now looking forward to the start of drilling!

It's NOT all about Iron Ore though is it?
Yes initially this is the "bread & butter" of the company but the main course is definitely Munni Munni.
Impossible to forecast Iron Ore prices going forwards but with high grades and low extraction costs we are well positioned.
PGM prices are IMO only going one way, especially as American is trying to ween itself off of Russian supply.
Palladium has been in world supply deficit for over 10 years, and with many countries talking about their Hydrogen futures Platinium will be in high demand and I am far more bullish on Platinium rather than Gold.

I wonder if Darth's glass is half empty?

We will have to see how this all plays out.
America is STILL importing plenty of commodities from Russia, also from China.
China CONTROLS 90% of the worlds REE's (Rare Earth's) these are critical elements that the world needs, this is just one example.
Sanctions are NOT a one way street.

I think America is looking for a new reliable source of platinium group metals.
Apparently Russia is off limits, DESPITE the U.S importing ever higher amounts from Norilsk Nickel! And South Africa is unreliable so an Australian supply could answer America's problems.
