None of us know the full picture, yet, but it could all be about securing supply.
The WORLD is having to go green and clean up its act, every country is going to need to clean up to meet climate change agreements.
Our basket of metals is highly desirable and will more than likely continue to increase in value as demand increases.
A consortium of buyers, say Toshiba, Honda, Toyota could join forces to SECURE their future supply and therefore secure the future of their companies!

I think the good thing is that this is now GLOBAL, little old Eurasia have the commodities that the world needs and these other countries are now in the mix reducing the chance of NN picking us up on the cheap!

I definitely think theres more to come yet before this is over. Cannot believe that the Chinese are just going to let this opportunity go without a fight, they are going to need these commodities more than anyone else and they potentially have the deepest pockets!

I was thinking a tie up with the Chinese but Japan makes a lot of sense when you think about it. Everybody thinks of Tesla but Toyota are a big EV player, Honda also but I believe Honda are pushing hydrogen development big time.
