People are notoriously bad at voting in ANY election, look at general elections.
People are lazy and many have a "can't be bothered" attitude.

Retirement is all a question of priorities, if you want to go on £10,000 holidays, buy new cars every two years etc retirement is difficult without a large sum of money behind you, certainly £1m in investments.
If you pay off all debt and look at your actual living costs it CAN be surprising just how little you need, but obviously everybody is different.
You can quite easily earn a good income from dividend paying stocks but to earn approx £1000 a month you need roughly £250,000 in investments, you must also remember that dividends are not guaranteed.
If your living in a nice house, just you and your wife and are prepared to downsize and sacrifice the nice holidays you can escape the rat race!

Never a good idea to try and sell a huge number at once as the price can tank, far better splitting the sale into segments, say 100,000 lots, to try and keep it stable, but to be honest I've never had "millions" to sell!

Going back to my comment, yes any consortium will want to make a profit but they would be in a position to accept less profit/take more risk on the commodities because they have to have those items for their final product.
Anyway just a thought!.....

Bergcarls hit the nail on the head I think last week.....
If a consortium of companies were to buy Eurasia they don't need to make ANY profit from mining.....
These companies are going to NEED these commodities to STAY IN BUSINESS and meet future emissions reg's.
What will the company sell for?
It could be anything, how long is a piece of string?????

We're still missing THE big piece of the jigsaw here so that we can join the dots.
The Japanese are clearly going to be involved but who else?
If we are going to sell 100% it still needs to be mined, will Eurasia still exist or could NN be part of the deal?
There could even be a another country involved yet, I really wouldn't discount the Chinese?
I am hopeful that by the end of this week we will know a lot more of whats going on!

Anders may well have already lived in a £5,000,000 House and just "needed" the extra £500,000 for his dream property? You DON'T know.
Anyway for ANY private investor to still hold over 35,000,000 speaks volumes, and DON'T forget Phil Taylor holds over 28,000,000.
Would you be holding these if you had doubts?
