Of these funds, One Trillion Shillings, Five Hundred Thirty Six Billion and Twenty Million, Two Hundred Seventy Four Thousand (Shillings 1,536,020,274,000) are local funds and Two Hundred Fifty Eight Billion Shillings, Eight Hundred Forty Six Million, Five Hundred Fifty Eight Thousand (Shillings 258,846,558,000) are external funds;

Oil and Gas Sub-sector
Honourable Speaker, the Government will continue to manage and develop the Oil and Gas Subsector by taking various measures, with the aim of ensuring that the contribution of this sector to the development of our nation is strengthened.
The Government will continue with oil and natural gas exploration activities in strategic blocks and construct a 34.2 km long natural gas pipeline from the Ruvuma (Ntorya) block to Madimba with a capacity of 140 million cubic feet per day. In addition, the Government expects to complete negotiations on the Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) Processing and Processing Agreements project so that its implementation can begin.
