Don't worry about it, I really had a good chuckle, didn;t know you had an inner dream of an alter ego. I think we are in for a great week, if anything like last week I am going to be on top of the world. Great hopes for HRG and TW as well, waiting for crucial announcements for both, but also hopeful on my bank shares and some of my tiddlers such as SAR, SOLG, TAN and maybe even SEY at some stage. It actually went to 26 -27 for a short period based on a rumour of a management buyout, nothing concrete but a small rumour was enough for takeoff.

I remember it well, howabout 285 per share!!!! would do very nicely, I would retire, that's for sure but it wont happen of course. They then came back to the market with a 90 p launch although they were originally seeking 150, it stayed for a long time between 60 and 80 but these levels even without t/o or MBO rumours are ridicolous. The business [reformance hasn't changed taht much since that last buyout, slightly lower profits but still a dominating force in the industry

I wont be at IMEX, ot really my scene and there are so many shows these days, went to Business Travel show and will proabbly do Eye For Travel but to busy to spend too much time away from the office at the moment. I think the banks will be quite happy withe performance of HRG and their servicing of their debt. Also remember that Radcliffe took it private once before,

If nothing gets confirmed by Monday morning we might (I say might) see a little retraction but I do think we are getting clsoe and from the reaction today on a small rumour we can all see how high it jumps. All the people I know in both HRG and BCD have bought in here, they must also get pretty excited. By the way BCD got rid of quite a few people in USA this week including one of the top senior managers. I think HRG is doing better in this crisis than BCD, have you got the same feeling?

No smoke without fire, just came back from town , was follwoing teh ups and down on teh old blackberry, remember all of this is without announcement whatsoever but as I said last night and this morning something is brewing. None of my contacts have been able to confirm but I have heard all scenarios, bidding was, one bidder, management buyout or what I think is most likely, management buyout with the support of DNATA. To get a management buyout without DNATA they need the consent of both DNATA and BCD. As for the 40 p+ I guess I would be reasonably satisfied although still hoping for 50. remember a lot of the people they would have ot buy out bough at the launch for 90p and many bought between 60 and 70 so they might be loathed to sell at 40. Anyway fabolous rise for my biggest investment ever and fanatstic week for everything else on my portfolio. Have not been able to say that often the last year but this weekend will be one to enjoy and I am looking forward to next week with great anticipation. Hope all Hoggers are equally happy!

amazed they got this much at that price, had hoped they would be forced to buy at higher price. taht was nearly 1/2 % of the company and can only imagine that it was one of the 2 main players making an attact. Can't be long now till we get a new announcement. A lot of shares have changed hands since the last RNS.

double digit rise++ on acmh, barc, BDEV, solg, TW, SAR, HSBA and nothing happening on HRG untill 1 hour before closing and now 15% on top for HRG, my biggest holding. Don't remember another day like it,long may it continue, wonder if there was anything else than sentiment behind the rise oh HRG, Ihope this will go past 20 tomorrow. Hope teh rest of you had an equally faboulous day!

I would very much doubt these will ever see the lower side of 15 again. The results would have to be really disaster and both stakehodlers would have to declare taht they were getting rid of their shares. Id the results weer bad they should have sent out some statement to adjust their previously announced position. I am expecting slightly worse than expected because I know the problems the trade is seeing now and I would be amazed if it hasnt hit HRG harder than they declared inj tehir previous statement. But there is some time to go before results and in the meantime the whole thing could explode with a bid. There has been a lot of shares changing hands in the last few weeks so I expect and RNS sooner rather than later with somebody moving closer to teh 20.9 % taht will trigger the bid. In conclusion much more like y to see 30 before a bid than 10

Look forward to hearing more. A lot of people have waited for this price to drop a bit so they can join the ride. I am also pretty sure that there are standing buy orders from either BCD or DNATA or both to snap up any shares that vecoem available. I guess we will be abck at 18 before the end of the week
