In fact I will buy shares this time rather than spread bet, which as I am sure you know, is the most economic way to hold a position longer term.

Hi Rupans, appreciate the support and also your comment about Saga. My last sale was at 1.60 ish, so I could buy back in at a small loss. Not really my style, but I have a great deal of respect for your posts. So, come Monday AM I will rejoin the ship and hope to set sail. A small drop at the open would not go a miss.

Thanks Rupans, good advice I’m sure, but I have had a strategy for the last two years which has transformed my market performance for the better and I’m going to stick to it. I hope for your sake you are about to do very well. GL.

I’m nearly back in, as hoped for, looking for 145 or a tad higher.

Bailed out at 1.60, thanks to all and GL to those hoping for better things. Will come back in at 1.45 ish if we see that again. ATB

Technicals or not, I have sold some more at 148. Very pleased with that price. The rest will go at 160. Will buy back at 1.30 should it reverse as indeed is normal behaviour.

Sold half of mine at 76.3, very good profit, looking to buy back at 70 ish. If not ride the wave with my remaining half. A great day and totally unexpected this morning.

10 at the moment, has been as high as 30 when the price was 110 ish.

Meanwhile it nipped over 140 so I offloaded a few. Looking for a 130 re entry now, about 1/3rd of my original stake left

If you read my posts you see exactly this strategy being used for a year now. Still works and will continue to do so unless we get a shift in direction from the company. Well done pp, you will do fine.

Well I appreciate that Rogue, it is always good to feel one is not a lone voice. Some time ago when I was advocating selling out and going short at 2.00 I received a hell of a lot of flak, but that reversal allowed me recover my losses from earlier buys at over £3.00. I have been long here for some time, but the strategy of trading in and out though much maligned by Thomson and his cohorts has worked really well.

I still think we will see 1.29 before we see 1.50 and I will buy some if it goes down to 1.25. Nobody has come up with a good reason why this share will climb sharply in the short term.

I agree, although I stopped shorting SAGA after it dropped below 1.50 and started buying, I regularly sell some of my holdings at 1.35 and above for a quick 10-20% return. So, here I am waiting for an entry in the middle 120’s as I currently hold around half of my maximum stake.

Until or unless we see significant financial progress, I can’t see the share touching 1.50 again this year.
