North American Miners23 Jan 2026 16:10
I hold a relatively wide selection (in far more modest quantities than have been discussed here π³).
I use the ceo.ca forum to keep a handle on them. There's some good discussion over there, but like here, many are frustrated with the recent underperformance of the miners vs the metals.
Hecla has had a great run the last couple of weeks and is at last playing catch-up.
Coeur has only recently eclipsed it's October high (which was set when silver was $40 p/oz LOWER), so I'd suggest that has a lot of room to run.
Also hold Endeavour Silver, First Majestic and Fortuna Silver Mines (although the guys on the forum there point out that Fortuna is now more of a gold miner, despite the name).
If you want some excitement, take a look at Discovery Silver (DSV). They've been waiting for a permit for their Cordero project for donkey's years, but whilst waiting, they raised a load of capital and went out and bought a producing gold mine. That has proved a masterstroke. The shares, having bottomed less than two years ago at 55 Cents, now trade north of $11....& still without a permit. Hard to say how much the permit is already priced-in, but with the Mexican government promising to resolve all outstanding permit applications by the middle of the year, we'll know one way or the other soon enough. We, of course, have our own permit application awaiting approval...
