I've sold 1/3 of my position today, recovering the entirety of my original investment plus a 20% profit, whilst leaving the rest to ride. Will continue to take profits elsewhere in my portfolio and plough it into my home.

GSR still only at 82. Plenty of room to run further (if gold holds). Mining stocks not buying the rise over the last few weeks.

It (literally) has a name: "The London Gold Fix". Twice daily, IIRC.

Just sold half (@25.82), having got in at £5.70 in 2019. Letting the rest ride. GLA.

Silver certainly got a rocket up its jacksey this-morning.

Up 10% today & this board is as quiet as a grave.

No idea...that's one of the reasons I'm taking profits. If it can go up for no (apparent) reason, then it can go down for no (apparent) reason. Would love to see it keep rising, though...but the higher it goes, the more I'll sell.

After such a huge run up (bought at £5.75) and NOT having taken profits in the summer of 2020, I'm taking some off the table. Don't want to end up kicking myself (which I did from 2021 - 2023).

The big four banks ALONE have made £24 BILLION in profit in the last six months....Where's the windfall tax on the banking sector??? Oh, yeah...their lobby group is somewhat stronger than ours.

But Gilt yields rise. Central Banks are (slowly) losing control of rates.

Gold has previously (briefly) touched $3,500. 22nd April.

IMHO. Energy prices will double within three years. I'd have preferred to see them retain the solar plant.

- The average silver head grade for the quarter was 498 grams per tonne, showing an increase from the previous quarter.

- Metal recovery rates improved compared to the previous quarter, reflecting ongoing operational enhancements at Juanicipio.

- Commercial production of pyrite concentrate commenced during the quarter, contributing to incremental silver and gold recovery.

- With the strong performance in the first half of 2024, grade guidance for silver head grade at Juanicipio was increased for 2024.

That comment aged well. Interesting that governments of all political persuasions can't wait to ban this or abolish that. Whatever happened to free choice?

Gold well above $2,200 and FRES languishes in the mid £4.xx. Too many better opportunities out there. Is Gerald Ratner still around???
