Thanks yes did have a read through. Just seemed a bit of a drop.

I had heard of this company before, and yes following the article in the Times prompted a closer look and jumped in for the short to medium term.

I've just got on board with these shares, pun intended.
I note the share price dropped back in January from 95 down to circa 70p. Any particular reason why?

I'm guessing NEXT closed the warehouse due to the obvious. Not to be fecioucious but dominos and all.....

BOOHOO will survive and bounce back strong. The cash pile might deplete but its their for situations like this. These are cheap if the economy is switched on in the coming month. If longer not so cheap.

I just hope as many of us PIs time the market reasonably well to buy in and make some nice bunse.

I'm exactly the same. Love this share and company. Whilst it looks cheap in the context of its highs......those highs were based on expectations of it continuing to outshine quarter after quarter.

Things have changed, I think they are fairly priced at best. Yes people will still buy clothes but not in the volumes as 3 months ago. Everyones calendars for the next 3 months have been written off, potentially the whole of the summer.

That's holidays, festivals, proms, birthdays, stag and hen do's, weddings, days out, BBQs. That's forgetting the fact that people are losing jobs or income.

Yeah kids will still buy clothes, but T what volume when nowhere to go and crucially no one to see you wearing them it takes away some incentive/pressure on youngsters to have the latest look.

If we have a quick fix these will rocket if not it just gives everyone an opportunity to reap the rewards of a proven route. Like muscle memory this operation will be like a slick well oiled money making machine. How quick and when all depends on when the economy is switched back on.

Indeed I did, not the first time and wont be last last. In thousands of trades I think I have bought or sold at the perfect time maybe 5 times. So I'm not surprised. In these market conditions. I have several stocks I am dipping in and out off.

BP, Boohoo, IAG are on my list for long term holds once I am confident the Virus impact is under control and people can move/fly freely and spend in shops.

What I fancy may change as the situation changes.

I got out around 328, buy in was 320.

Couple of hundred quid for more loo roll.

My hunch was it being a relief rally on the back of stimulas. India on lockdown......I'm expecting more than 3 weeks for ours.

There is no doubt this is a great stock. If things go back to normal in 6 months BOOHOO will still be here. Just what condition will it be in?

Yes its online and people are at home but you don't buy so many clothes if your not going anywhere.

Its fast fashion.....why buy clothes that might be out of fashion by the time we are allowed out to wear them.

If I was in I would hold. I want to buy back in.....and if there is a quick/sudden solution to stopping this outbreak I will miss out on the immediate jump. On the flip side every day this goes on is a day off pain for any retailer.

Ouch, I know that pain....mistimed or been caught out by corrections many times and sure I will in the future. Let's hope all you know remain healthy and it bounces back in good order.

I was in at 3.20 so I need to see further gains.

As a household we have put travel plans on hold. So all that holiday attire we would normally buy ain't gonna happen.

That money is more likely to go on DVDs and PS4 games.

Again. I love this company and once life gets to normal again it will bounce back and make anyone buying in pre £3 money. The question is how much money depending on when you got in.

I've been in and out of BOO since day one having been an early fan of ASOS. I missed out on the biggest gains in ASC.

I've made some great returns, enough to put a deposit on a rental property and steady stream of income after that.

Luckily I was out before all this happened, although I fully intend to get back in and get in big but this is going to be virus driven.

So long as people can get out and spend money in the near future this will jump back up soon enough. But everyday of lock down, as in no holidays planned, concerts, festivals is going to knock profits for six.

This is or will be a screaming buy. Trouble is no one knows when, it just might be the first set of results for a while that carrys some mystery as all previous have been consistently excellent.

Greens I am with Halifax and got 2.24 at around 0810. Only sold a little half of my holding and bought the same amount back again for around 213 and pocketed just shy of �300. I am only a small investor, originally had a bigger holding but released cash to purchase a buy to let up north.

Volatility = Opportunity sometimes. I sold over half my holding first thing and bout the same amount back an hour later. In my opinion this is only heading one way long term but its not going to be in a straight line.If you have been holding this stock for any length time, providing you didn't buy in that mad spike you've probably made some decent money.

Is it the 22nd June the trading update is due?
