I honestly think in general there is a lot of money waiting on the sidelines. I really cant see stocks pumping upwards until sentiment improves and the bulls start racing.

We have, supposedly hit peak interest rates. In the hope inflation falls as predicted to 5% by the end of the year and lower next year this should hope we are at the end of a very long and painful tunnel.

I was hopeful for a boost to sales with the warm weather in August hopefully compensate for I expect poor sales in July as we had so much rain.

Even if figures are better than expected I dont expect to see a massive re-rating till overall market sentiment improves. And that wont happen till we see peak interest rates behind us, or at least in view. We might see a short term bump up, but I expect it will be short lived.

RIght now a stock/business can be going great guns but it seems the uncertainty is enough to drag down all positives. Once that leash is off and bulls and greed take the reins who knows.
