IF, and IF it bounces from here and BOO recover to anywhere near its hey day will it matter if you bought or your average is at 80p, 40p, 35p or 29.8p? Never has to me if I turn a profit. Of course if it was that easy to call the bottom we would all be perfect and millionaires.

If it goes bust and we lose everything, it will matter less what you bought in at as you have lost it all anyway.

BOO has always been a volatile stock, almost like trading a commodity like oil or copper.

When stocks are rising with momentum, to many it feels like they can never fall.

When stocks are falling like they have been for 2 years it feels like they will never again rise.

But they always do. This is the worst year I have had since 2015. Average bear market lasts 2 years........

I know the US Indices have been at all time highs in recent history but largely due to tech and AI. The latter I have interest in once I have cash coming back in from the stock market but cant help feel it will be a bubble the first time round like the dot.com boom.

You will be surprised at how many people who have averages around the £2 mark or higher.

I used to trade this all the way up from 80p. Never bought a above £3. Believe it or not I bought at £2.99 and then batches everytime I thought the risk reward to the upside was greater. As you can see that didnt work out great.

I have two pots of boo shares. One with an average at 94.5p and one at £1.17. With relatively small amounts of money at these prices I could bring the average right down. I am not worried, as my entire portfolio is the Red Sea after a shark feeding frenzy. Even stocks that have many more positives over doubt.

As I mentioned there will be people on here claiming to know everything yet in the background have probably lost a great deal. Its why I take people power to account so often. Alot of ifs, buts and maybes but I think it is way to early to think BOO is out of the game. Way to early.

Its priced for going bust, which it clearly isnt.

I imagine BOO at these levels is on alot of people radars.

Thanks and likewise. Hope our day in the sun is not far away. Everyone can feel like they dont know what they are doing when the markets do what they do. I tend to think fear is a very immediate reaction in the markets. Looking at today and thinking things will never improve.

Especially when the media are like inflation is here to stay forever and 5% interest rates are the new normal.

When Russia invaded Ukraine everybody was screaming $300 a barrell of oil. I am licking my wounds and riding it out. Dont forget we have had days, weeks and months of declines in many stocks.

2001, 2008 and in the case of BOO you can add 2015. And now 2023, almost bang on every seven years.

These have been the darkest days of my portfolio. But what came after and between those years make up for it. Lets hope, 2024/2025 is the start of another cycle upwards and or recovery.

My entire portfolio is battered (largely house money) but life style and health intact. Seen this several times before hope to live long enough to see it again. Be wary of those who always get it right and after the event claim to have bought at the bottom and sold at the top.

If not what do you get out of this? I know you have the noble cause of countering the blind ramping on here. Thank you for your service on that. But why?

The fact is stocks in general are battered, even stocks in my portfolio that have released nothing but positive news or mostly positive TUs are sitting at recent (2-3 year lows) Its going to take a shift in sentiment, disposable cash in peoples pockets to start shifting things upwards.

I am unlikly to top up in any stock until early next year now.

I do like how BOO is tackling its costs and looked under the carpet to change practice to increase profits. For a large organization its showing nimbleness.

It took interest rate rises on my rental property for me to take a closer look at my running costs to offshoot the rises. If interest rates settle in 2 years time I am expecting 2025 to be a good year. Pain until then. In terms of extra disposable income.

I remember in 2015 after the profit warning having this as low as 23p. I never thought I would even get my money let alone see £4 plus.

Its a bigger business now. Making 6-8% profit (If we see it) on 1.5 Billion Rev is better than 15% of whatever it was back then.

Can anyone see any reference to rate of return in the UK and USA?

Wishful thinking but be nice if some of the drop in "Footfall" is due to steps to counter returns. Happy to lose unprofitable customers.

Could you imagine some people on here if BOO was having to raise funds, or had suppliers who were paying their staff 3p a garment. They be foaming at the mouth and squirting all over the shop.

Around 9 years ago I had a small punt on a speculative stock.

In the end I sold my holding after a year. At best broke even but maybe for a £100 loss or so. Anyway in last 8 years I have only looked at the price of that stock maybe twice. I certainly havent bothered posting on the message board of that stock. Because its in the past, I have at the moment no interest in investing in that stock, couldnt give a fudge. I certainly dont have the time to post 30-40 times on a stocks message board every day.

Why does it only happen here? Where you have people who think this is a bum stock, apparantly no interest in investing and any money. Baffles and boggles my mind. It really does.

I mean if this is heading to 22p then it could head to 11p and why would you invest in a stock that is, if you believe going to go lower and lower. There are other options out there. Long term there are 1000s of stocks that will be higher when sentiment improves. Go make some money and return and gloat if you like when BOO is 2p a share an in administration.

I don’t require a gang nor the weighting of opinion. At one point I was the only person to challenge him and his one sided opinion.

The guy is a clown and I only wish I had the chance to tell him in the real world.

When someone continuously claims to be perfect you can only go through his past to find contradictions to shut him up. If only that worked.

I see/hope for in line with expectations. Give or take. No real change in the SP.

Any good news will be overlooked by anything slightly bearish. In short I dont see stocks being bullish for another year.

Lets suppose he is. Self aware he is not.

In recent history, he has questioned anyone who holds and criticized anyone who held all the way down from £3 etc. Yet SCB found a post where he still had faith in BOO when it was as low as 58p. He is the walking definition of a shape shifting clown.

X100 bagger this was two years ago, need I remind anyone. Hold for 30 years no matter what anyone says blah blah clown.
