Now, it may be the case that they sold a lot since October 2023 and have been buying back recently - or it may be the case that they bought a lot since October 2023 and have been selling recently - or it may be the case that they've just been buying and selling (trading) a few or none since October 2023. Only a communication from them or a detailed look at their trading history would reveal what has actually been happening.

What is certain is that you know nothing about their intention for the future.

That's actually quite risible. And by 'quite' I mean very. Some AVA6000 was excreted without being cleaved? Yep, that's normal. It's got nothing to do with 'not working'.

You have no idea of the numbers involved: the miniscule sizes and the astronomical numbers. For instance, there are far more molecules in one inhaled breath than there are grains of sand on Earth: 10,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 molecules in one breath.

Now work out how many molecules of AVA6000 there are in 385mg/m² for a 5ft 8in man. (Hint: it is a very, very, very, very, very, very, ...very, very, very, very large number.) So what if a lot are excreted uncleaved?

Well context is important. It depends on what else he was talking about around that time but in the absence of that one must assume he meant the two indications that Avacta are planning on taking forward, themselves and with one or more partners, namely SGC and TNBC.

Well I guessed they would have to be new shares as Avacta hold none in treasury, and I guessed they would have to be sold at a higher price than Heights would get new ones for. So a slight - depending on the sale price - gain on £3m worth, but what would be really good would be a recognised, respected buyer taking a big batch of shares at a decent premium. That would really kick the share price up.

This ties in with what Aldebaran wrote ("outline is that CLN will be paid in cash and will be going into sticky hands") but I don't understand how it works. Where will Avacta get the shares to sell that will then provide the funds to pay Heights in cash?
