Thanks B2H. I'm sure Avacta will only be working on new pre|CISION substrates in the context of oncology - cytotoxics or whatever.

Licensing the platform out to other companies for use in oncology could get problematic if there is overlap with any of the >10 targets Avata is working on in-house but licensing out for other therapeutic areas could be very lucrative. For example, imagine anti-inflammatories or antibiotics being targetted to, and only to, sites of inflammation. How much would that be worth given the number of different classes of drugs in these disease areas (steroidal anti-inflammatories, NSAIs, and many different classes of antibiotics) and with the side-effects problems with the anti-inflammatories in particular, as well as GI reactions that some people have to antibiotics.

Predicting share prices and deserving of respect are two terms that are incompatible, as are Miles McNulty and integrity.

Thanks Sandy, yes I think that was it, part of the 'other oncology targets (other than Topo I and Topo II)'. The use of the terms 'therapeutic classes' and 'targeted therapies' are confusing, perhaps deliberately ambiguous as they could mean other therapeutic methods of treating cancer or they could mean totally different diseases, or indeed cover both. Anyway, there is still that "cancer and other diseases" that takes the potential coverage outside of just cancer.

Anyway, the job description says "cancer and other diseases" so they are looking for pre|CISION/Affimer applications outside of just cancer.

Firstly, at the end of the General Purpose and Scope: "Our aim is to utilise our innovative therapeutic platforms to treat cancer and other diseases" - Other diseases. So are Avacta looking beyond oncology? For instance pre|CISION for the other indications listed in the IP as having raised FAP levels: fibrosis and inflammation. This is what I was hoping CC was alluding to when she talked recently about 'Multiple therapeutic classes (n>10)' - slide 8 of the interims deck - https://avacta.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/06/Avacta_Results_06_June_2025.pdf but she also talked about other oncology targets (other than Topo I and Topo II). I don't see Avacta taking on therapeutic classes outside oncology themselves - that would be too unfocussed, but such non-oncology classes would be prime licensing territory with no risk for Avacta. I'd love to hear of an agreement soon in this area.

Secondly, the sheer variety of interactions with external organisations listed in the Main Duties and Responsibilities indicates how far Avacta have come and the complexity they have to navigate in order to progress their programs and exploit the full potential of pre|CISION and Affimers.

Well, strictly speaking, the no Nasdaq listing plans news was not part of the AGM presentations but it's always the same with this 'no new material information' lark, the "initial signs of efficacy in both Phase 1b indications" being another little gem.

The news about the recent SGC partial response was released so that CC could talk about the data at BIO ( 16-19 June in Boston).

@Steadyman, if I understand your holdings figures correctly, then your average is about 70p, so I understand why you'd get out with a 43% profit, even after 5 years, even if all your investment had been sunk in Avacta for all of those five years.

I'd say though that you could do much better by sticking the course a bit longer, relatively speaking. However age is also a consideration, I get that.
