A good overall description but, tbf, I'm not sure you can extrapolate the 'likely' (600-fold) tumour:plasma ratio of AVA6103 from just one (AVA6000) data point. Two data points—the ratios for AVA6000 and AVA6103—might indicate a trend but it would take three (AVA6207) to confirm a relationship (or not). The differing PKs may have something to say about it.
Anyway, fingers crossed the ratio will be at least 600:1 but the proof will be in the patients' responses and that's what really matters as Avacta are committed now to this particular compound as AVA6103.
RE: Pre JPM conference M&A in ADC area8 Jan 2026 13:32
So as you're not going to argue in favour of your point, you now agree that "they hired a deal maker on 300K PA two years ago" not so much to sell what Avacta had then as to be able to match Avacta's development programme to what big farmer actually wanted?
RE: Pre JPM conference M&A in ADC area8 Jan 2026 10:59
A question for you IFA: If they hadn't hired a deal maker two years ago, who would have been talking and negotiating with the various professional people at prospective partners and licensees at many different companies these past two years?
Just a reminder that Thornogson/NDN/Eggy works for Tom Winnifrith and isn't invested, just says he holds Avacta shares, which anyone can say without proof.
Just a reminder that the ToucanOFDoom is an idiot, because only an idiot would believe that counter arguments to 'optimistic predictions' are made-up pessimistic predictions, not facts.
US government funding runs out on 30 January. If the farce of October last year is repeated, the FDA will close down again until a compromise can be reached.
Just a reminder that wyndrum isn't invested - and is only here to disrupt and sow discord and is not in the slightest interested in understanding or learning about the science.
@Bella, there were two other IMC webinars that day, one at 10am and the other at 1pm, both of them under an hour long so, barring cancellations, I doubt lack of available slots was the reason.
@Bella, the AIM traders are only interested in short-term funding, not the long-term benefits of the science and that 17 December presentation was billed and was about the science. I do think though that CC coud at least mention the potential TAM for AVA6103, and particularly AVA6000, indications.
@Thompi, good point picking out the angry ToucanOfDoom's imbecilic comment.
The timing of the 17 December presentation was very odd I thought. 10am London time. So obviously not arranged for people in the US - why not? They could of course listen to the recording later but they would not have been able to ask questions during the actual presentation (fat lot of use that that is) unless they were up at silly o'clock.
It was also unclear where CC and DL were, whether either of them were in London or at home. If they were at home, 10am for us would be a 5am presentation start for CC and 2am for DL. That could explain the downbeat presentation but it comes back to WHY a 10am GMT start? Quite bizarre.
