No doubt anyone in the industry can arrange for RNSes matching their profile of interests to come to their inbox/phone as soon as published as a paid subscription service.

Such people will likely cover the global healthcare sector (so as not to be outmanoeuvred by following a dud) and there will be similar services for other countries. Then there are the biotech, diagnostics, devices, services, etc listings. And the private comnapnies not quoted on any market.

Lucky the person who can do all this and examine balance sheets, check the l;atest patent applications and read business and scientific news about latest developments (plus team meetings of course) in a day. Miss it for a few days and there's a lot of catching up to do. Still, all told, anyone in that work worth their salt would have discovered Avacta. maybe a watching brief at the moment?

But if it's true that "a wife of his colleague does manage pharmas in her PF", you need to find out which fund manager she works for and what portfolio she manages. If that latter has got 'pharma' or 'biotech' or 'health', etc in the title then we need to know so we can avoid. I was thinking of investing in AXA Framlington's Biotech and Health funds and may need to reconsider...

Interesting. I can see why pushing to, or at least towards, MTD would be important in terms of para one: if, for example, 200mg/m² was deemed safe to be used, there's not enough data to say that it would be safe and efficacious for everyone or that AVA6000 can't be even more efficacious whilst still being safe, so push the dose level up and then choose a dose below MTD. That does sound rather old skool FDA, but if side effects are minimal and cardiotoxicity absent, then go for the highest possible efficacy!

That seems a way to get there by the end of Q2. The dose increments will be determined by the shapes of the graphs from the previous doses I guess.

I donb't think that necessarily follows Matml74. They got over 3m shares in lieu of loan repayment and interest. Sold at an average of 148p, that is £900,000 readily available to invest elsewhere. If so, that says to me that they don't expect truly big returns on their £1.18 shares for some time and they can take those later as they still have another 19 repayments to come.

Anyway, with 165 or so on bare bones indication of how well it works, it will go a lot higher when the revenue route is clearer. At these prices, it's like free money. Isn't it?
