From what I remember from my search, MHRA and FDA say 30 or 60 days to come back with an answer with a joint response from them and their respective Research Ethics Committee fellows about any change to a trial (assuming it's not regarded as a new trial).

Avacta would have to contract out the development work, as it currently does for AVA6000, and relying on outside organisations can be fraught with problems if strict control of the contract work is not maintained and coordinated.
