RE: Therapeutic Levels10 Feb 2023 10:23
Well to me 'therapeutic levels' means having a therapeutic effect, i.e. is efficacious, and whther that is a large or a small therapeutic effect we'll have to wait to hear.
However, as "AVA6000 continues to be well tolerated by patients in cohort 4 with a marked reduction in the incidence and severity of the typical toxicities associated with the standard doxorubicin chemotherapy administration. ... Importantly, even at the highest dosing levels in cohort 4, equivalent to more than double the normal dose of doxorubicin, the typical drug-related cardiotoxicity of doxorubicin was not observed" and straight doxorubicin can be given weekly (in smaller doses), the trial is so far wasting AT LEAST two weeks in every 3-week cycle and so, whether the therapeutic effect is large or small, that effect could be increased by more frequent dosing. It will be very interesting to see at what frequency the trial resumes with DE4.
(Why are people writing DE5???)
Fingers crossed for you mowzer. x
