I hope it's better than Science Day. Science Day was really weird: part fascinating, part boring, part relevant, part wtf. Whose brainwave was it to include the STS stuff in such tedious detail or the CAR-T stuff at all? The iis didn't go along as research scientists and clinicians to be educated in the finer points of anticancer treatments which is probably why, when they saw the agenda only a few bothered turning up. With their backgrounds and interests they would have wanted an overview of Avacta's Therapeutics division and its relevance to cancer treatment. Avacta could have usefully done a session on chemo side effects: causes and treatments with emphasis on costs and another as an overview of current and upcoming chemo treatments: modes of action, efficacy, side effects and costs. These would have shone a lot of light on the utility of AVA6000 and the pre|CISION platform. What a wasted opportunity.

It's no longer about the science. That has been shown to work, it is just a matter of how well it works (MTD and proof of efficacy). I think the SP has fallen since SD because the company's commercial future is not defined yet and the share is a trader's plaything.

A couple of points. CRC may have been chosen for the PDX mouse models because that is the type of cancer cell that can be obtained (commercially) for such studies. Also, whilst doxorubicin isn't used to treat CRC in the clinic, that is probably due to toxicity issues rather than lack of therapeutic activity.

I've not heard of any big purchases since end of 2021 but may have missed them.

Onlookers need to be aware that trolls don't bash bad stocks; they only bash stocks of companies with potential upside so that they can buy in at a lower price.

Onlookers also need to be aware that these trolls neither know nor care about the details of the business of the companies they bash and concentrate instead on general, often historical, critcisms which is something that Garmoan demonstrates time and again in its ignorance.

No Roger, it seems there have been no share purchases in the US yet but that is hardly surprising if the company is currently under the radar and this company description on MarketWatch suggests that there is nothing of particular interest about the company:

Those who remember the Science Day at which 'no new material information' would be disclosed may remember all the details about AVA3996 working and how well it was working being disclosed to the attendees. Clearly the definition of 'material' is a length of string thing, at least on AIM and at least when the audience is made up of invited IIs and major PIs.

Will 140 attendees be a fair proportion of shareholders wanting to hear all the 'no new material information'?
