It obviously takes time to get a paper peer reviewed so I guess by 'as well' he means the conference presentation whilst the paper is being peer reviewed.

DTW, I thought they said (and I may have misremembered/misunderstood, so please correct if wrong) that they would publish in a quality peer-reviewed journal or present at a conference. These are the only two realistic possibilities - a trash 'peer-reviewed' journal is an oxymoron, and a conference paper needs to followed up with a peer-reviewed article but it does allow for earlier publication, and cross examination by interested parties at the conference.

I should add that if enough patients are enrolled to make the clinical results statistically significant (60 patients between the three arms are probably not enough) then this would - or should - be a pivotal study en route to regulatory approval. That's to say, if AVA6000 is shown to work better than straight doxorubicin (efficacy-, side effects- and toxicity-wise) in statistically valid way, then what else is there to prove?

Avacta intend to use SoC doxorubicin (six 3-weekly cycles of 75mg/m²) for two reasons. Firstly to characterise doxorubicin PK, PD and concentration in the TME - the information that was stated as not currently being publicly available. And secondly as a comparator (being the SoC) to two dosing regimens of AVA6000 - to see whether AVA6000 is more efficacious than straight doxorubicin, and by how much.

I'm just looking for the term 'pivotal' to be included in description of the next study.

If the number of patients gets upped from the 60 that has been talked about for the modified 'Phase 1b' to around 120 or more then funding from some source would surely be needed but the possibility of regulatory approval would be very close. Anyway, Avacta will do the analysis of the Phase 1a trial and work with the regulatory bodies to devise the best follow-on study that will be make or break (pivotal) for early approval. Any announcement about granting of FDA Fast Track, Breakthrough Therapy, Accelerated Approval or Priority Review designation would clearly indicate that.

City-Mix sells for 436€ per litre (£375/l) and 230€ for 100ml (£1,975/l) so I suppose Myles' £400/l would be about right if very few 100ml bottles were to be sold but the revenue would be reduced from that level by Biozol's markup, distribution costs, raw material costs, failed batch write-offs, etc. OR if many 100ml bottles were to be sold and all those expenses were allowed for in the £400/l.

It's a theory I suppose, but Avacta's not really known as a covid stock nowadays is it, or at least not one that can make any money from covid? It can make some of course though the Coris test but how much does the covid stampeding horde know about Avacta's recent acquisitions? No, the uptick was due to Alin being seen sporting a brand new shumper, strutting around with all the confidence of a man who knows 😉.

I don't understand your last para. If FAP were to be saturated at a given dose, then surely adjusting to a slower infusion or a greater volume of diluted infusion would relieve the saturating of FAP?
