There is, or should be, no reason to edit out any of the content of the presentations. Just put markers for the start of each presentation and again for the start of any Q&A sessions, just like last year's Science Day. How difficult can that be for a 'professional'? We can stand a few minutes here and there of speakers changing places and setting up if we really want to watch it all but if there are obvious cuts within the presentations or the Q&A's themselves then the obvious conclusion would be that there was information given out that only those present are privy to.

Agreed. That situation always gives away 1:1 in-person insider information.

Some (several?/many?) Phase 1 oncology trials don't last very long because of toxicity issues and MTD reached quickly.

Whatever was said during those four presentations between 2pm and 4pm was put into the public domain. There should therefore be nothing to edit. If they do edit out 'material' information which should have been RNS'ed first, then they've been providing insider information and should RNS it ASAP.

Edit it down to, er, let's see.. prehaps 2 hours, maybe? 😂

I don't know about editing the two hours of presentations - we'll see about that in due course. It's during the after chitchats with Avacta personnel where little tidbits are dropped that the real gems are picked up.

Should have spent less on smoked salmon and borscht and got someone more reliable that Terry from Walthamstow market for the video end of things.

2024 R&D Spotlight Live Event

Avacta clearly not in control of their own presentations. Only one video on their YouTube channel - and that from 7 (SEVEN) years ago! Will yesterday's video be on ICR Consilium's channel just as the April presentation is on Turner Pope's channel and all Investor Meets Company-mediated presentations are on their channel?

It was a private company looking for publicity so that it could raise money for Phase 2 trials. When a company resorts to that it usually means "Beware!" for everyone else.

I get it that you, like everyone, want to know what's going on but we'll just have to wait and the result of what he's been working on will come out of the blue like so many other announcements come out of the blue.

You had the right to go to the presentations yesterday and to ask the Avacta people directly yourself.

So what's the new Ltd company name going to be? They've currently been using Avacta Group, Avacta Life Sciences and Avacta Therapeutics seemingly interchangeably. So something new? Or Avacta Therapeutics?
