Ehhh Odins, thought they had £20 million to pay back first, along with likely needing every penny from the payment break to do all the necessary works needed at SLBY just to keep production where it is, which is not exactly blowing the dawssss off either.

If they were actually able to bank production revenues rather than to pay Trafigura and pay for works needed then we wouldn't be hovering at a lowly 0.35p would we ??

AND as per the RNS, 3mmscf/d is JUST the "initial" production, which with further possible discoveries and appraisal could be multiples fairly quickly.

The Vivo deal and location of the plant (as on Chariot's website) looks to be positioned to initially take from Chariots Onshore but perfectly positioned to also act as terminal & processing for Anchois, Lixus etc. shortest routing position for all potential production to be sent.

Will also be interesting to see if Chariot & Energean decide to work together to take Vivo up on the 49% interest in this side of the processing and supply side. Likely that "end" product can deliver very healthy returns, second to the primary production volume arriving at the plant.

They must be hugely certain of the drilling results at OBA-1 (pre testing) to already be well into this side of planning etc.

Well Angus should be OK with what remains at SLBY as gas isn't really the main issue (at the moment) and Brockham is producing such a small quantity that it borders relevance, but may well mean they will struggle for further works, sidetracks or new wells if they wanted to, and they will likely use the precedent of this ruling to fight harder against Balcombe progressing.

It's another death knoll for UK oil for sure, not dead yet but gezzzz it is on life support !!

Energean putting their fuller weight behind Morocco and their other gas field in Israel, selling off much of the other assets for close to $1billion.

Good to see, means they will want to put maximum effort into drilling, further appraising and bringing in 1st production ASAP.
