It is just my opinion, but I expect whomever they have that would be willing to lend £20 million, is likely also embroiled in some pretty heavy due diligence, as I fully expect the loan can only really be secure against revenue generation and associated asset.
The problem or possible lengthy due diligence is also likely suffering as it depends on not just Angus, but Mercuria, the Payday lenders & the Forrest-gate factor, then add in detailed Opex & Capex (workover etc) detailed forecasting, and any production decline forecast, AND the weakness in the UK gas futures to what was hoped, then that Angus hope of resulting in an average of £1.25 is more likely looking like between 90p -100p annual average. which is neigh on 25% less than their hoped.
It will all have a weighting effect for sure.
