Apologies - unknown on the screen I was looking on ADVFN
It is showing on LSE
28-Sep-20 13:45:10 3.02 1,175,000
That trade Number 296 has been amended on ADVFN
Time of trade now showing as 08:35:06
The real time of the other big trade is unknown.
AFVFN is the result of a slight keyboard twitch whilst typing ADVFN usinng touch type on an unfamiliar keyboard.
I must apologise for my blatant failure to proof read my message lol.
QWERTY keyboard has the F close to the D.
So the trade is shown on ADVFN rather than the clumsy platform I inadvertently typed.
Kinda shows that I am not a bot and more importantly that I can make the occasional error.
Apologies for any confusion Noviceinv ;@) Stay safe all.
Num. Price Size Type Bid Offer Time Buy
296 3.1 3,300,000 O 2.8 3.0 17:15:00 3,300,000
Richie - is that figure based on the fact you sold and sod's law?
Or is this something not yet on my radar?
Trade number 248 - 1,175,000 thank you very much. Not mine but a confident trade.
freerunner - I too am with Share.com - I recall investing £500 in the initial IPO for iii as it was pre 2002 - I only recall it being that much as I moved house then and it was whilst still at the other house. I used their iii bulletin board before migrating here - their board had gone to rat5.
As for trading with them, I never did having gone with Share.com who I have been happy with.
I think there is some shrinkage in services and collaboration and mergers to fit the new world of business. I have the signed and sealed document on my desk agreeing to the merger. I am limited to a small amount of stocks presently so it suits me for now.
Best regards and hopefully things are progressing positively for you and the family. I know when I was diagnosed with multiple kidney tumours, resulting in bi-lateral partial nephrectomy, the family took it really badly but I am still about and creating as little mischief as I can. Stay safe ;@)
A follow up trades 91, 94, 104 - if nothing else it keeps my mind occupied.
in the sells 41 and 78 there was a figure of 185 followed by 2 at 37 and another of 74 - 5 x 37 + 185
2 x 37 = 74 so will there be another 37 come up soon?
If nothing else it is a coincidence.
...if funding was an issue, would anyone think we may have gone for a cheaper vessel than Ice Max?
Surely if we were penny pinching we would have gone for something more akin to a smaller budget.
No one knows for sure of course other than those who need to know. Happy that the vessel has been officially named, happy that we understand it is in Las Palmas for a refit of neccessities, pending its voyage to our waters for a bit of drilling.
There have been 2 updates this past few days from the company and neither have mentioned any issues with funnding.
As I am sure Trek knew the initial figures were in the region he posted, however, as we now understand from SP that the prices now come with a 15% discount as to the original as a result of current issues.
Stay safe all ;@)
We are financed for the rig named perseverance. Various options are available and have been thoroughly discussed
WE DO HAVE A THOROUGH FINANCE STRATEGY.
If perseverance strikes oil in commercial quantities we WILL have access to further finance for more exploration at Bahamas as well a the other opportunities available to BPC.
Let us not fear or be countered into a corner by folk suggesting we may struggle for finance for P1.
If P1 has a negative result - bear in mind it is not 100% that we will get a great result.
Also bear in mind that we have what appears to be a 30% plus chance as per the real experts and you can read all about how big a number 30% is in the oil exploration world.
So to recap - there is a financial strategy already in place to fund Perseverance 1.
If P1 is successful we will not need to go cap in hand for extra finance for P2, P3 etc,
the only reason we would need to go in search of extra finances is that we do not discover commercial quality and quantity.
YES - it is HIGH risk and nothing is guaranteed. Do your own research - Money is available should we need it for P1 - good result means we do not need to go begging for money.
I have repeated that point several times on purpose in order we can be clear.
Stay safe - Early night for me - Sleep well my friends ;@)
Glide - Without doubt there are moves afoot to create humanoids and there will be such creations already being trialled throughout the world.
A roll out of humanoids is a long way off - Westworld type imagination - I did admire the story in Yul Brynner times as well as the more recent series.
They would be very beneficial but prone to malfuncition like any automaton is. Until they are made otherwise they always will be but by then the requirement for humans would be in the annals of history. Why else would we think there is there such a fascination for travel to other planets?
These and many other topics of course are for a different forum.
The clock is ticking and oil is on my mind.
Yonny - I also have my thoughts and will listen over again, but she lost me when she claimed the creation of a non-human police force.
IK - hope you have erected a motion sensor lighting system - look forward to meeting up with you and all in the not too distant future.
et al - I trust you are as excited as I am about our prospects with BPC. This coming week should be a little more interesting now that things have been settled as to the drill-ship allocated. We all need a little good luck and I hope things come through for us all. I would also hope the sovereign wealth fund does wonders for the indigenous folk of the Bahamas rather than only for the wealthy ex-pats living there.
All the very best of luck to everyone.
Interestking - unlike Purvis and his singular post using that handle (wonder what the previous one was), I enjoy a little tales of a raconteur. I am sure when we eventually all get together we will be sat in the corner with our respective bottles and sharing tales with anyone wishing to hear them. I tend not to tell many of mine in case they give someone a nightmare lol, though many funny dark humoured ones too.
Stay safe fella - you speak of 1984 - my 3 decades commenced 1986 so you will have a few more tales to tell. ;@)
Hi Glide - I mention it as my three brothers, all of our wives and the majority of children work in the NHS. Whilst none of us like the situation, I thought it only right having seen my family being presented with many cases on a daily basis. Do I want to wear one? - not on your nelly - will I wear one? Yes I will.
My colleagues in my previous life have a difficult enough role without having to pi55fart about trying to ensure the government's wishes are enforced. A seatbelt reduces the risk as does a condom, facemask or otherwise.
Never wished/intended it to be a discussion piece - this is a forumfor BPC - I spent 3 decades protecting folk, so sometimes I forget. That is the last on it for me.
Stay safe all ;@)
We will have a drill ship in the waters where our licence is in December. 90 days including weekends until the other big day in many calendars.
We have plenty of time to have disagreements and good discussions relating to BPC with the occasional bit of banter and menu discussions of course.
Whilst I have a number of folk on filter to keep my reading of the boards to a minimum, hats off to those that challenge the dissenters - though try not to feed their egos too much. Point them in the direction of info - unless of course you enjoy the baiting of such folk.
I do like a challenge but prefer it in person as I can perhap see and hear the emotion behind a comment and react accordingly. Stay safe - keep your mouth and nose covered and most of all - I hope to see you all safe and well whenever it is that we meet up. I will be the fat bloke with the gin. ;@)
...to one of Eytan's ProActive interviews when asked about cost of a farm in. Listen to it all but from around 12:30 he discusses cost of farm in.

Whilst looking for that video found this one with Zac Phillips which was February and speaking about the drill in April 2020 - interesting listen : - https://www.proactiveinvestors.co.uk/companies/news/912175/bahamas-petroleum-success-at-perseverance-1--would-be-a-game-changer--912175.html

... there has been a right load of stuff spouted on here and had the gas from the ho55 5hit (just on here) that would ordinarily go to waste, could have been saved and created enough energy to supply all of northern europe.
( tic of course ;@) )
Have a great weekend folks - crappy weather - certainly up in the frozen north - the wind is blowing a hooley outside.
Stay safe and remember to pop back on Monday !!
nice update CoMan
Gives food for thought and an insight and further avenue of learning for most on here.
There will be some nervousness especially with the bid being so loose today - so long as it is making a five figures profit in the portfolio today, I will be a happy bunny.
Stay safe all - off to take the old man for a run out so catch you all later. ;@)
