I have ended up being far too exposed in NPT...mainly due to being seduced into thinking that I could make a quick few grand with a few pence rise!! Instead I come back from a short holiday ya to find I am nearly 50% down. So I guess I am stuck in the queue waiting for this to eventually stabilise and bounce back!! If that is ever going to happen. Will hang around until update on 11 September...and then review!

Do not underestimate just how big Rangers were/are worldwide...especially in US. Whether or not this will impact on share price is another matter. I for one am left holding shares in the hope, rather than expectation that this time next year they will be worth nearer the £1 mark!!!

Let's hope that the panic over the POC tax issue will soon abate, especially when investors understand just how much money on-line gaming generates. I have said over on the NPT board that I MAY be looking to off-load a proportion of shares in TTR and/or NPT next week, just to cover the bases in case it all goes t*** up. Otherwise money sitting in these shares is just waiting for the tide to turn!!! It could be a long wait.

Come Monday I may be looking to off-load some TTR and NPT and move into a more stable stock...if one exists these days, in an attempt to regain some losses on portfolio. I am inclined to think that money sitting in either of these stocks for the next few months is just dead money!!! Unless of course ST over at IC can rebalance the universe next week!!!

Hugh - I have been invested in NPT and TTR since last September. I had the chance to take some profit from TTR around January, but I always intended to let both shares run for the full year...or more... I think that once the POC debacle is sorted these will recover, but in maybe six months time. The whole market is down at present so these shares would have been affected anyway. As we all know the markets are fickle and these shares are simply not flavour of the month...until enough people have faith in them again and then they will start to rise.

I also bought into NPT and TTR before going away for three weeks. Before leaving i did consider reducing holdings in both as I thought that the negative publicity about tax and gaming sector in particular was going to hit share price, but thought that if it did it would soon recover. Nothing on can do at the moment other than watch both fall through the floor...I am less confident that others that these shares will recover sufficiently in the next year to be able to cover costs and/or make a small profit. Seems to be counterintuitive that a cash generating share is doing so badly. The mixed messages about the POC tax have not helped. By the way I am also invested in GLOBO...so I am well on the way to being suicidal!!!

Quite happy with the situation myself. Have some faith in the company in the long term. I was just surprised that no one had posted a doom and gloom message, as they do on some of the other amusing bb's But thanks for the reassurance.

Am I the only investor in KBC who uses this board? Hello...is anyone there? Anyone worried about the sudden drop?

Thanks Chequemate. Have been lurking around these boards for some time now...have decided to come out of the closet(!!) so to speak. Couldn't agree more about following head rather than heart. Like you if I had done so back in August when I was putting together portfolio for 2013-14 I would be sitting on a nice cash pile by now...but as they say, if it were that easy we would all be rich by now!!! Just topped up here hoping for the 60p breakthrough, having sold out of Ithaca. Pondered whether to go for GLOBO. GLOBO shoots up and Netcall goes down...such is life!! Long term however, this looks to have strong long term growth potential.
