Marketing and Placement is decided between The Artist, The Global Media Channel and MVR.

Equally if it turns out to be the One of the Top artist, it will gain traction in few hours.

I agree - my thoughts were restricted to Global Launch.
MVR need a global launch platform - if its not YouTube then it could be anyone from Facebook to BBC.

I also dont think its entirely up to MVR, if the record label (the artist otherwise) insists on being on multiple platforms then there's little MVR can do.

Also big "artists" and best songs cant be controlled the demand is rather strange to tangle.

but if MVR created VR Media is available all over YouTube as well as MVR then that has some benefits.

1. MVR media is bought by YouTube - more money
2. MVR media can also then by sold to other channels.
2. MVR will end up being the main producer and content holder.
3. MVR library is the biggest, it could be the only provder.

Global launch with global artist on YouTube will be huge for marketing.
It also proves that MVR can hold on its own and deal with both Oculus and Youtube.

Global launch on FB isnt any worse, its just that YouTube isnt a bad idea for Global Launch.

Have you had a look on MelodyVR website and tried to look for those artists in YouTube VR App ?

If not then as always the Record Labels will decide where to place which artist.
Either way YouTube is an open platform for MelodyVR.

MVR already has contracts with the owners of VeVo

A closed working partnership was always speculated, what fueled it further was when YouTube announced its VR plans.
In reality no one has ever seen or heard about YouTube Plans.
Entire VR space is empty, there are no news or events.
YouTube is Google.
Google also has been dull quiet on VR front, which itself is very suspicious as if you recall.

Where is their content coming from ?
