Your idea is good
It was discussed at least a year ago
Marketing isnt any scientific absolute process, there are many ways to do it
My understanding, MVR is approaching top to bottom. They are getting industry, its professionals and artists to adopt MVR and fans will follow.
Of course you could do the other way around. Or mix them.
Marketing budget is finite so it has to be strategic and surgical. So far its worked, we have Music industry on board, we have providers on board and download numbers are growing.
US is the biggest economy in the world with the strongest consumer, breaking into US is not easy requires millions after millions. Foolish to assume it will happen in a day or month.
Dont forget MVR is creating its own market. Every person who will use MVR will leave all the platform you mentioned. MVR is a direct adversary and competitor of all existing platform.
Here's another interesting fact.
Some of the best known albums have been LIVE from Deep Purple's Live in Japan, Pink Floyd's Pulse and Queen's Live at Wembley. Fair enough I don't understand or follow Rap RnB and other new music but you can find many best selling Live Albums across all genres.
So, nothing to stop MVR from selling Audio extracts/songs in future on the platform.
A lot can be done, a lot more YouTube can do too even now but Nikki has done this before and as a professional with proven track record - I trust her to do her job.
If youre an early investor - then relax you will get your profit, it might not come in your timeline and that's your decision.
