Hoping that today might have greatly reduced Amati's remaining stake.

Donmac reckoned they had about 5 or 6 million left in mid Feb. Today alone maybe shifted another 2m?

Last stated position was in 11th Oct RNS:

"As at 30 September 2024, the Company had $6.1 million in cash. Verici Dx has continued to demonstrate a disciplined approach to cost control and anticipates that the year-end cash balances will be in line with current market expectations"

Prior to that

"We ended the period with a cash balance as of 30 June 2024 of $7.0m"

So that's a three month burn rate of 900k.

So by end March, that would be around $4.3 in cash, with a runway into 2026 as per previous statements.

So not sure how they could need cash now, as that would be a signficant change they would need to inform the market about.

The delay to TutiviaTM did not appear to impact 2024 expectations -

"The updated timeline has no effect on the Company's cash position at year end which we expect to be in line with market expectations."

Not sure about the recognition of revenue thing. Might be an accounting thing. Or it may be they have contracts that will only kick in once Medicare cover us achieved.

Amati can't have that much left. I think perhaps lots of people were waiting for them to be fully out, but have had to pivot quickly on this rise.

Suspect it may have been triggered by the post zicos refers to (anyone know what platform this was on)

Losses trending down

EBITDA loss of $1.1m (H1 2023: loss of $4.9m; FY 2023: loss of $8.0m).

And revenues trending up

Revenue of $3.3m (H1 2023: $-; FY 2023: $1.0m).

We may well have a cash balance around $6m.

Market cap still looks low for that kind of balance sheet.

If Amati are out or have stopped selling, this could really move back up quickly.

Also, TT I'm inclined to agree there may be more delays.

Although they are making progress in hiring the team, I dont see any sign of the ramp up of PR for launch.

I have been expecting this drop. Its clear there has been a seller (suspected to be Amati) and they have been trying to wait until buys came in before selling (presumably to keep the price higher).

I stopped buying for this reason , expecting at some point i'd get in more cheaply (i was correct!)

But i think the seller may be on time deadline for end of tax year. Write off tax, pay bills, whatever. So with no buyers, they have have to sell at lower and lower price.

Someone stepped in to buy late in the day. Amati may have more to sell. We'll see. Im hoping they will be gone by April 5th, and hope well get the RNS after their departure.

Appreciate its a bit of a binary result on the medicare. But thats the risk of micro caps.

It was an opinion TT. My opinion was that there is absolutely no doubt that ciz will know about Quantum dx (and i I still believe that, given the nunber of diagnostics cos in the uk).

My "no doubt" remark was not about whether they were connected (which i stated was quite a coincidence)

But nice research. So this Anthony Voorhies is a mystery. And it seems QuantumDx is not a unique name globally. I can understand why they might be perplexed about that, given they clearly have intent to operate in the USA.

Wonder who quanyum dx services usa are then? Is it just a personal service company? Can't find a website.

Could be coincidence. I dont have linkedin so unsure lf its the same guy. But quite a coincidence.

The Newcastle company does have a Head of Strategy USA. I actually thought the Newcastle connection made it more likely, becuase of ciz York. Absolutely no doubt they will know about each other.

Bid up to 2p. Could end today blue. 75% of our current market cap is cash. That seems very cheap given the J&J partnership, trial results to date and cash runway.

And it turns out they have 8 months cash.

And the doomsayer were shouting about imminent placings.

So comes down to whether you think they will sell more of this in the coming months. Looks likely.

Takeover also possible at this level.

The markets have been depressed for so long, that many have forgotten about the IPO levels of 40p.

Fantastic opportunity here IMO.
