my point was in reference to some comments that have read this as a conventional reservoir,
I fully accept the importance of permeability and porosity, 88E are claiming potential areas of "superior pore volume" based on the FB3D which might or might not enable commerciality hence my comment that we need a drill in 2023 to actually see if these areas are as postulated, contain oil and we can actually flow that oil.

I would have to agree that the company appears very remote these days.
As for geology up dip / down dip not so critical when tight, we need to get that drill 2023, my money would be off an ice pad/road close to the Dalton, Jan - April , my thoughts being that;
DNR may be unwilling to approve a gravel road / pad for a pure exploration well (GBP had Alkaid 1 flow test), even if they did I would suspect bonding cost would be very significant and I am sure construction cost would be prohibitive for us. Although the benefits of gravel operationally are clear.
But I am ever ready to be surprised. :-)

Yes it is not a good look and has impacted the SP over there, but none of us know the full ins and outs.
I did take a look at the salaries the directors over there draw and they do not look over exorbitant by oil company standards so perhaps they decided a bonus was in order :-)
As far as I am aware DW only sold shares after leaving the business and Erik Opstad is not a director, however it would instil some confidence if the current board bought a few . :-)

Can not imagine we will be bidding (but then again), wonder if Oil Search/Repsol and GBP activities will have created interest in state leases.

The company has made no secret of the fact that it is financed only for long lead, preplanning and permitting activities at Icewine so we still have to finance any necessary ice roads, pads and drilling / testing operations, could be a farmout may be involved but even so we would still need to raise cash. there is no magic money tree unfortunately.
We have had other 3D drills, Charlie-1 and Winx-1, Premier Oil decided the borehole position on the former and Otto Energy the latter, so how good our analysis (or that of our consultants) is a moot point.
As for the management we do appear to have plenty of O & G experience in there but....

All sorts of factors can influence the share price, I leave it to others to predict the SP :-)

At the time you purchased the mid price was 0.525 so if the price you paid was below that your buy would be classed as a sell.
Nothing odd or underhand, the algorithm is a very simple one.
Above mid price a buy, below mid price a sell, equal to mid price n/a
All one could query is why the mid price lags reality at times :-)

As for funding we are funded to enable forward planning commitments to happen but not enough to actually finance a H1/2023 drill.
