Based on previous Ice Road permit there will be some preparation for iceroads beginning utilising tracked vehicles suitable for summer tundra travel, so not expect full winter access until mid January at earliest, minimum snow cover and soil temperatures have to reached ,although dispensation can be given under certain conditions.

88E 3D is pretty all to the West and that may be suggestive certainly for conventional Plus of course old White Hills activity.
Ken Peters think the sweet spot for HRZ is aligned with lease 392301 (Icewine) and of course oil is proven (leach from cores) so looks positive for unconventional.
Not sure what Nordaq paid for the Golden Eagle Leases or what their plans are, appear to have Chinese money at the back of them but a private company things can change very quickly of course. No plans for exploration either 3D or drill so far this winter, but still time.

Well East of TAPS with a distinct gap between our Eastern leases and Nordaq.

Could have a big impact as any project with a potential impact on waterways linked to salmon breeding including tributaries would be subject to intense scrutiny and even if allowed would be under onerous conditions, would make commercial oil more difficult to achieve and even put the future of TAPS in jeopardy.
NPRA and ANWR development likely to stall.
The Alaska Native Corporation are anti the bill and I am sure that many Alaskans realise that O & G is the reason they have a wealth fund paying everyone a dividend, but sometimes I do wonder.
