I agree, we needed those funds a few weeks ago when the original offer was produced, perhaps it is still better that we place the shortfall to ensure a decent bank balance as we enter a critical few weeks(months), I do not know.
I can see a couple on HC querying why we need a trading halt if terms of offer remained the same.
I will wait RNS, if it is a placement should be reasonably quick I imagine.

Quick check of previous trading halts seem in the main to be operational or NEW cr.
If by hook or by crook DW has got the RI shortfall away after all that is what you expected is that all bad?

Based on jumpinjacks post last week it would seem unlikely.
If the BOD decided a CR then they would not be making that decision lightly, a bit of positive sentiment is in the air, partly based on the recent write ups that are confident of a FO result by year end.

Looks to me as if a good RNS has had a good reaction, we are still up on in AIM compared to yesterday, regardless of what happened in ASX & Chi-X and you can look at the volumes traded in a negative or positive way, as far as I am concerned we could have achieved the 90M trades that would be par for the ASX & Chi-X volume and they may have just been a lot of sells as RI holders took profits, instead we have a balance of buys and sells on a reasonable volume..
Seems to me we may have a few posters trying to knock the wind out of our sails.

yes could mirror last years volume and SP development, but no one predicted what we have seen today and no one can know what news is imminent.
Good news regarding Ballot Measure 1, that I recall was a potential negative for one or two in respect of the potential for a FO, well that is cleared now.

128K I agree Yukon news has not been sole catalyst, seems as is a few have woken up to the potential of the whole and the fact that we are now a "conventional" explorer with big potential and irons in the fire.
Time is marching on only 54 days to year end.
My view is that very few realise that DW has achieved a fundamental change in the company in just 12 months making it potentially lower risk and more acceptable to many investors, hopefully the SeeBee, Nanushuk and Torok formations will reward us shortly with more to come from other prospects.

I think DW has prepared very well for this period in the companies history, separate legal identities for various projects and "partnership" with ASRC in place, share price up and hopefully sustainable he may be in a good place to negotiate a decent deal, he has talked 30% in recent past, hopefully we shall see all in near future.

we would not be having this day if DW had not grabbed the opportunity just under 12m ago, Yukon cost very little and somehow DW got on the back of "some ones" coat tails to get it 3D'd ultra quick, Point Thompson still short of raw material and our leases the gateway to ANWR, coupled with the Winx and ASRC deals this has already been a transformational 12M.

We are only 16-18 weeks away from potential Winx spud.

Loz still in Public Notice phase, we will have approval before planned February spud, think Alpha Bravo took just over 4 months from start to finish and we look to be in the same timescale this time.
best to look at a few permit applications to understand the process.
