well bore was not relined, no need, coiled tubing used which can be removed as an when necessary, there is physically no issue with the bore which would prevent a horizontal.

128K you have to remember the company and jv history, HRZ was the priority and investors invested on that basis, or was it because they sensed a quick buck and did not understand the 50/50?
Will see what happens next year with Icewine#2V ca n we find someone to share the risk, I think it was ASRC via Little Red who took the final data and suspended the well, the HRZ extends well under the ASRC leases will they want to get more involved but would they have the technical nous?
I think I have never been less than clear, lots of potential, lots of risk and that is why I have traded on the spikes and never been parts of the FOMO gang , go back to the days of Offshore Trader and the "given" and you will see I was one of the few to remonstrate. My view is that the biggest ramping will not come from the regular posters we all know who they are and how they post, go back to last June and see who joined the party.

interesting snippet about Chevron, bit like football clubs when they say they have no intention to sack managers:-), Chevron have history in Alaska and have a small interest in many leases, plus before they fell out of love with Alaska had a number of projects on the go, including the White Hills development, as the Kuparuk and West Sak infracstructure gets ever closer wonder if they would look again.
Currently Chevron have 23,000 acres in Alasaka.
Can Saudi afford to let oil prices fall again, will Putin be happy, if exploration stalls then what happens in five years time?

mikemike will be watching without a lot of hope, but then perhaps that was how I watched last week and we got a result.
Think like a lot of imports we are very keen to use when there are just as good or better home bred players that end up being ignored, seen it with RL players who although talented have either come to late or struggle to adapt to the RU game (particularly with immediate expectations pressure - Burgess), we should be better than we are though.

The acreage purchased this year Yukon, ASRC & GBP has strengthened our position in respect of conventional, we needed options to ensure our survival and we have got them, perhaps we should have stopped at the original 98,000 acres,no Heavenly, no Malguk, no Yukon Gold all discoveries based on historic wells and no Winx.
Everyone who was raving about the OilRush report was raving primarily because of the conventional and that conventional is focused very much on leases that we purchased after the initial acreage.
