Not sure who came up with "Alaskan 'winter' end in March" but the drilling season end dates last few years below.

Those dates are for Western Coastal which applies to Winx based on Umiat meridian line.

seems to be a lot of spurious claims and doubt raising today :-)

last few years the drilling season has continued into early May, leaves time for clear up after flow testing completed.

MW93 I am not sure that DW is saying that, we have plenty of time before season end on the slope.

but what time did drilling recommence on the 25th?

if I remember correctly the op update gave the day the drilling restarted not the hour so that is 24 hours vagueness for a start couple in minus 9 hours (AK time) and why get worried.

The Bonds process was a means of SOA clearing its obligations in one fell swoop rather than paying over next ~ 7-8 years.
Current governor has upped payments from the legal minimum but it will be years still, hopefully success ( minimal use of facility) will enable us to absorb that unlike for example Great Bear Petroleum.

as for Yukon, things changed there with Exxon working a deal with Jade (announced late last year), if you have done research or just read this board you know who the directors of Jade are and we now have a border with them.
we also have Bill Armstrong looking over our leases (based on 3D permit) so may be all sorts of reasons, including that stated earlier of course.
