SeaHawk think we have had had plenty of twitter posts over the years claiming success, failure and "I know more than Paul Basinski :-) and DW has not reacted, so what was the driver this time? was it internal from one of the stakeholders or agencies/contractors involved, we will never know! but as I have said before AIM and ASX have very different attitudes to a perceived disorderly market. DW obviously felt he had to take action

Did DW risk trading ASX and possible sanctions or did he request a trading halt, which then meant a statement (RNS) on AIM.
We can all have an opinion on that but it is in reality worthless as we do know full facts.

II have always thought Torok may come with a surprise and the understanding of how to stimulate it has increased a lot in recent years but that is my uneducated opinion, accept we are a long way from operator below.

Neversatisfied believe it has been reported that we will only flow test the "best" zone, but like many things it could be a fluid situation. :-)

mikemike not just ASX, the AIM rule in that situation was actually more demanding no trading halt available is my opinion after a lot of digging.
As usual if you rely on the bulletin boards & twitter for research and validity your are mistaken.
Best to use as springboard for own research (not used that for a while), certainly shows up the charlatans, spivs and irriots that plague this board at times.

Tincup check the rules relating to continuous disclosure and disorderly markets in ASX and then AIM, DW was put into a difficult position.

mikemike I do wonder if many making comments as to geology and particularly in respect of O & G understand the complexity of the subject, OEL a public company have evaluated the prospect and come to a conclusion, 88E & RMP have I am sure been allowed to pour all over that data and arrive at individual decisions as to whether its worthwhile or not. As it is 88E and not the jv in this instance involving PB in discussions about Winx seems moot, but just remember we have;

jon1966 good question and prompted a look at AIM rules, may be a difference in policy between AIM & ASX as to what constitutes a disorderly market and what remedy in such a circumstance should apply.
Always seems to suspension in ASX and not AIM :-)
page 39 & 48 (Rule 40) may have relevance but I think its for people to read and make up their own minds.
