plenty of instances were poster have made incorrect claims either way, ranging from the "oil production" will only ever be in the winter to claims that DW erred in not buying all available leases in the Yukon, some of these are genuine mistakes, some are genuine misinformation, so they need correction before they become the "new truth".
I don't like the spats and but again I can never understand why some who are supposedly invested here do their best to talk this share down often stating their distrust of DW, why would anyone of such a mindset remain here after all as one or two have alluded there seem to be "much better investment " opportunities elsewhere.
I guess the truth is do take anything at face value and mistrust anything not supported by a link or clear reference.

I am not getting excited by uncorroborated rumours honestly can not see a major swapping a producing field for an exploration risk, just think BP may be more excited by ANWR possibilities, Bob Dudley was in Alaska 18m or so ago and played down the ANWR connections but …

what is possible is not impossible, PANR have ~170,000 gross acres (inc Western Acres) most of which should have modern 3D and LIDAR and so far 3 wells all close to the Dalton corridor one of which has flowed so obvious potential.
The Majors all have( net of working/production units) the ability to take a lot more acreage for exploration so we could see any number of permutations being played out ultimately.
Its all speculation and my own belief is that if both companies are in FO discussions then they are separate after all their data room is a year behind ours and apparently they were still formulating confidentiality agreements on the 5th august before allowing interested parties in. Can they achieve production in 2020?? off a gravel pad like Franklin Bluffs maybe, not sure they can drill and pipeline in same season look at Brooks Range history.

physical transfers of w.i. on ADL lease documents should not be an issue, necessary documents can be signed and witnessed via the DNR Public recorders Office so not necessarily a factor in any delay, could be that HRZ is featuring in ongoing discussions, we just do not know.
