just take a look at some of the junior explorers
ADME,JOG,ANGS,PANR,UJO,RBD,UKOG,UPL all down or flat, yes there are some plusses out there but there is no universal upwards movement, my FTSE100 watchlist looks good but 88E is not comparable to that list or oil producers.
88E price movement to day welcomed but not based on volume or any news that I can see, but whether its the MMs pushing it on or some genuine interest (albeit at low volume) - not sure.

12:02 I should be prepared for a potentially long wait, DW will not be holding up an announcement if the deal is all done, he can't (or would be very unwise) because of rules on continuous disclosure, we have a jv partner, unknown third party(ies) and DNR(DOG) plus who knows who else involved if the deal is as big as most of us want.
I have been here a long time been disappointed more than a few times, I can wait.

plus I do not believe it is DW who will be calling the shots on any announcement date if FO deal is eventually announced.

D45 I agree not get too excited, but "almost every share going up" , I have a watchlist and perhaps I am unlucky but only 25% are up today and even with some big movers today AIM all share index up 3.6% (less than 88E current), plenty of shares flat or down.

Jiddy US$0.5M is almost certainly paid as needed for near term activity, I am happy with that explanation and in my opinion that is all we need to know until the whole deal is explained or as and when DW choses.
If the JV signs a deal for a rig that is a substantial commitment, but will the confidentiality of the deal trump ASX disclosure rules?
