Not sure if any poster here appears to be under the impression that flow tests have already commenced, the RNS on the 20th was very clear.

"An update prior to the start of testing will be provided in the coming fortnight."

Could be the case, sure shorters are very keen to report when building and less keen when closing, not sure what teeth the FCA actually has in these matter.

As for Mangrove they seem to have a rather cavalier attitude at times not even knowing which of their vehicles held the short.

Not sure if current volumes indicate any extra buying sufficient to indicate a short is being closed, if it was Mangrove and they are reducing by instalment they would have to be notifying at each 0.1% step down to 0.5% at which point they like Citadel & Qube etc would drop off the radar.

We do have cash in bank, yes we have outgoings to come but not debts as at this time and we have not given up 75% of Phoenix, Bex already had 25%.

Difficult to judge based on declared self declared positions above 0.5% but my thoughts are ~11.3M shares @ 41-45p.

The pipeline will not be built until after first production at Aphun (based on known data) so the question of gas is moot, yes will mean gas injection wells but oil will still be profitable.

Current strategy involves concurrent development of Aphun & Kodiak fields with Aphun FID during 2027, I just wonder assuming there is a successful flow test at Megrez-1 if we will see priority given to getting Aphun into production earlier than originally planned.

I do not disagree with what you are saying.

As unsavoury as it all looks am not sure what our options are at current SP, that "small ammount of money " to enable us to retain the status quo will cost us billions in shares at a discounted SP even if we could get the CR away, or possibly force a share consolidation.

If we enforced the current terms of the deal with Bex we could of course now have 100% w.i of Phoenix but A.G. it seems does not wish for this.

All talk of a formal Farm Out process a few RNSs back seem to have been just that so I doubt we had interest from elsewhere.

Bex unable to meet the US$3.5M committment due 15th Feb, but no matter we have extended that part of the deal and then entered into a Farm Out deal with them for Project Phoenix.

Perhaps Bex are confident about the project and also that they can raise the finance on a 75% w.i. .

Ultimately it does not look good if this the only deal that we could strike.
