Bob there are exceptions to the requirement to report sensitive information immediately and merely drilling a well particularly in none oil bearing zones would be operational but not sensitive.
If someone has the link that says there is a need for a weekly report then I would be very happy to see it. :-)

proselenes no one ever gives a link to the actual rule, the only mention I see is that in the event of a material hydrocarbon discovery then that release must not be delayed, normal drilling operations do nor require any release as far as I can see.
Could well be that DW will follow past practise and release weekly.

I seriously think that that the story is so good here that even if there is some profit taking (which there will be) the SP will take care of it's self, we will have the odd basher dredging up old and now irrelevant stories of past "failures", bad news about the future of oil and that it is winter in Alaska so drilling has stopped.
We are and should be confident, yes there are still risks but this is an appraisal of an existing discovery, supported by modern 3d and analysis, plus of course validated by the decision of PMO to put US$23M into the venture and remember they agreed to AEA as the operator, no lack of confidence in Erik and his leadership.
If any doubt listen to the PMO half year presentation, the guy is confident.

As DW will be unable to make new announcements (price sensitive) at the London meeting on Friday I would imagine strong likely hood of a prior project update but enough is in the public view that no one needs to be concerned at project progress, everything that DW has said should be happening - is happening.

14:23 Stanman would been great to meet but circumstances preclude this time, think that a lot of us here understand that news is all (almost), however there some for whom the technical are all, if they follow the trends that they see then there must be a positive or negative.
Think son was looking at the increased frequency and size of the SP moves plus the 200MA but to be honest my eyes glaze over, will ask him when I next see him.
Although I might sound a bit dismissive I will utilise him during any spike to help me decide any action, think once volumes and SP are moving the analysis gets more worthwhile.
