This flow test is critical for 88E so best we ensure we are properly resourced at base and take advantage of "local" experience in the field.
PANR and ourselves have been sharing information for some time and its probably sensible for us to take advantage of what ever experience they have gained from their flow tests, they have certainly not had everything go easily and to plan so why not utilse the knowledge they have gained so far.
As for time, yep I am unhappy that we mobilised so late but the rig can probably stay on the snow pad until the third week of April( at least) and we are so close to the Dalton that the risk of stranding is low, so plenty of time to complete the flow tests.
Stay appy.

On the basis of the RNS issued 27/02 your comment as to the flow test being behind schedule looks reasonable.
Look at weather (Prudhoe Bay) and its very very cold, at minus 42 deg C I would imagine enough to impact operations.
Set to improve over next few days.

"- 88E is fully funded for the flow test. No CR is planned during the flow test."
little surprised that company would make that statement in an email, but very welcome if correct but of course could come with results at end of test.

Think at the time Paul Basinski was pretty well entirely focused on HRZ ~11000ft depth and hoping for proof of volatile oil, well and flow test designed to test HRZ only.
Oil shows on the way down identified but not part of that wells objectives.
"The Company has held the acreage since 2015 and in that time conducted 2 well penetrations, Icewine-1 (2016) and Icewine-2 (2017). Both were designed and drilled to test a deep unconventional play and positive drilling results within the shallower Brookian reservoirs (SMD play) were overlooked due to the different focus of those drilling programs."

You make a good point and I have often found the naysayers can help with directions for further research either to confirm or refute their claims, however I do filter abusive(personal) and inane posters.

So a net trade of 15M, looking at SP could be a SELL.

Icewine-2 was drilled on a hardpad so NO seasonality factor, drilled into source rocks (HRZ) much deeper than Hickory-1.
Not sure how at this stage how you can draw any comparison.

At the moment the gas pipeline is just a proposal with plenty of hurdles to be cleared if it is to become a reality.
The link below gives a reasonable summation ast to the projects aims and also the likely stumbling points.
Last weeks Petroleum News posted an article but only available to subscribers.

Article about another operators winter season activities , just shows how having access to funds can mean, planned six exploration drills over two seasons.
Interesting last paragraph regarding future NS oil production.

No one is playing games,
The London Stock Exchange does not declare whether a trade is a buy or sell, the algorithm is applied by sites such as is for information purposes only.
The algorithm that decideds whether a trade is a buy or a sell is based on which side of the mid price a trade falls. Its not unusual to see periods when all trades fall one side or the other of mid price.
It is what it is unfortunately, I guess you could query why the mid price is not more accurate but perhaps a sub penny share is difficult to place.
"The London Stock Exchange does not disclose whether a trade is a buy or a sell so this data is estimated based on the trade price received and the LSE-quoted mid-price at the point the trade is placed. It should only be considered an indication and not a recommendation.
Trades priced above the mid-price at the time the trade is placed are labelled as a buy; those priced below the mid-price are sells; and those priced close to the mid-price or declared late are labelled ‘N/A’. "
