Why are there two price monitoring extensions in place *after* trading has closes at 16:30?
User Steve it seems bizarre to me too. Anyone any idea how this can happen. Got excited when saw RNS had dropped, less so when I saw 2 as that seems to always be price extensions, then time given for them, after close of trading seems bizarre. Not sure how it could even be possible? Anyone any idea?
Up. But then I've thought that even at £5. This company fundamentally is better now than ever, monthly sales update will be huge, with extra capacity has it been able to up sales/orders from last months 40m? If so how much? Could they possibly have sold less without a big one off order (Zimbabwe)? The moment that news hits will be massive could be end of week or next. Pakistan order? South America? USA oem please!!!!!! Germany news? Are we making any headway in France?
I must admit to loving trump during lockdown. He has kept me laughing during stressful times. Just seen clips of Tulsa rally and he said he has instructed his team to stop testing so much as they are finding too many infected people! Such a funny but scary scary scary man.
Sales updates have come out at the beginning or end of each month since Covid Testing started. I'm expecting next one in around 2 weeks. US sales figures I'm not expecting a big figure from, lower than Zimbabwe order, I'm expecting that alongside the next sales update unless the US OEM releases their quarterly update and something happens that waves our NDA with them. Hopefully if they get USA sales manager in place it can then become a bigger market for Novacyt.
Primerdesign listed as one of 34 companies. Some sound smaller but companies like Abbott are going to have big market share. What % primerdesign? All depends on how big their oem is but doing my but waiting. https://www.businesswire.com/news/home/20200608005029/en/COVID-19-Test-Kit-Manufacturers---Evolving-Opportunities
My personal most conservative estimate is that before the pandemic over and need for testing on this one ends novacyt will have over £100m cash in hand no debt a global brand and distribution network, diagnostic capability globally will be much bigger than before and supported by national governments and global organisations such as WHO. My optimistic estimates are think of a very big number, double it then double it again and then add a few zeros on the end.
Can you project sales and earnings for this year and next in calculations. What benefit if any do you give novacyt global exposure and links created by covid 19 going forward? If better tests going to replace the novacyt one, realistically when do you see novacyt orders drying up? What value if any in novacyt announced new products? Every time I crunch numbers I think this company is worth multiples of current share price but market has not agreed with me for about 6 weeks. Nothing emotive just eg its rubbish ha ha just clear opinioned projections I'm after. I know share price is very emotive and animal spirits and all that but if based purely on fundamentals what is fair value?
What are peoples expectations from usa oem if we get 3 month report with next months update? I had written it off a few weeks ago but now think it could be decent. 23m tests and counting, say 2m test by novacyt oem? What is likely return from usa oem on that? Are people expecting more or less of total us sales to come from our OEM? Really don't know what to expect so appreciate hearing others educated guesses.
Cheers

Shows 5.5m antigen tests so far, 400k antibody. Updates every day. Good to know. Test, test, test.
Hi Crishar
I'd love you to be right. At the moment there has been 2 big orders phe and Zimbabwe. 6 or 7 a month would be fab and is possible but not happened yet. I want to know what the f!@# is happening in the usa, Pakistan will be nice plus there are loads of possibilities that could take off, but at the moment it is a big could!
The capacity is there to make 10m but they are not selling that level at the moment. Last month was £30m in sales that included about a £10m Zimbabwe order, so £20m without. Hopefully more big orders coming from south America and or Africa but I think sales could be anywhere between £20-£80m with £30-40m my expectation so I think £7.5m a week is realistic. Less and share price falls further, anywhere above £10m a week and share price goes up. £15M+ per week share price gets back to £4/5 range. If it hits £20m per week (more sales than they made all last year) it takes a shot at £6 in my opinion. Next day delivery only possible when ample stock and not selling full capacity. IMO
What exactly is our relationship with these 2 big pharmas? Are they just acting like any other distributors or can we expect anything more from them? What effect will they have as distributors compared to other distributors if any? Is it like a food manufacturer getting a deal with a supermarket? I know a bit about investing and business in general but pharmaceutical ms not area of expertise.
A question I've been asking myself since they first reported it in march I think. I cant come up with a response I am confident about. Could be a NDA with a bigger company considering buyout but how long does it take to make up your mind? I fear it could be market presence has not established like we would all hope and they are still plugging away trying to make inroads hence need for an American sales manager to try and give sales a boost. If it was an NDA preceeding a takeover then I'm not sure there would be a great need for a150k sales manager, as the potentially big American pharma would surely have a sales team in place. Personally not holding out much expectation for whopping results on that one and think institutional investors must have also already discounted any big news otherwise this crazily low share price would make even less sense.
